Wlad wasn't iced, he took accumulation. Lewis was knocked out with one punch TWICE.. and by mediocre heavyweights. Wouldn't give Vitali a rematch because he was getting beat up before the cut. You can call it a TKO, but the Dr stopped the fight, Vitali wanted to keep going. If that were prime Wlad instead of Vitali hitting him with those shots, he would have been knocked out. The best names on his resume are Holyfield who was past prime and had already been in numerous battles with Tyson, Moorer, Bowe, Foreman, Mercer. And of course Tyson was shot to hell, and looking for a payday to pay off taxes. Hes not even close to being as great as people rate him. Try again.

Im probably one of the few that give a prime steward honed wlad a very good chance. he was a better two fisted puncher than lennox. lennox never fought a guy his size with the skill and power in both hands as wlad. of course the oppositie is also true which is why its a 50/50 fight for me. I think a guy like a prime Tyson or foreman would have been more a stylistic nightmare for wlad as they took a better punch

wlad improved and became smarter after those losses tho and hes a much sharper bigger puncher than vitali. I get your points tho

That was not a real TKO, that was a stoppage due to a fluke cut in a fight that he was not only losing but on his way to be knocked out. I swear Lewis was the most luckiest guy in the history of boxing, his peak came along at just the right time when better fighters had faded out and he was able to cash out on a fluke win against a superior fighter. Lewis was tailor made for Vitali since Lewis can't outbox him nor knock him out, plus Lewis fades after the 8th round, while Vitali ' power carries into the later rounds of the fight.
