True, true. I love how they point out kirkland's massive lay off but forget to mention the fact that Canelo will have been out for damn near a year too by the time the fight comes around. This is a good fight all around, especially for a fighter trying to shake his ring rust off.

Lmao what's up with people acting as if James is some kind of bum ? He got caught cold by Ishida and has been dropped but he only got stopped once in his career. If anything that means he has toughness and is willing to fight fire with fire and trade with monstrous fighters the likes of prime Angulo, and still come out on top.

If anything the massive layoff on behalf of Kirkland would be the true problem... But let's not forget the fact tha Canelo wouldn't have had a fight in a little over 10 months by the time the fight rolls around, a long layoff as well.

Good fight as long as it lasts. This is the type of fight/fighter Canelo dominates. Kirkland is always dangerous though and has a good gas tank.

This card should do very well on regular HBO. DLH was smart to take Canelo back to HBO. It can only improve his popularity as long as he does well.
