Kirkland hasn't really been relevant in a while... seems like an overreaction..not surprising coming from a kid still wet behind the ears who has people in his head getting him all emotional...

I still give Canelo props for fking up Floyd's PPV plans... I doubt Mexicans are going to run to pay $90 bucks to watch a pointless Cotto rematch or a Khan fight LOL...

Canelo for free or Floyd fighting a Rican he already beat or a Brit? What do you think a Mexican boxing fan will choose?

As a Canelo fan I am disappointed that Cotto didn't step up to the plate but Kirkland will be a good scrap and another KO win for Ginger.
I was at the Alamodome for Canelo/Trout in 13 and may make the trip for this one if its May 2nd. Would depend on the undercard and no family conflicts.
I can catch Mayweather pot shotting and running from Cotto on replay the next day...
