I don't understand why american fans are on Fury's nuts. He's a joke, A bum.

This is the best British Heavyweight.

I think fury is a descent fighter. he throws good combos for a big man and has a clever awckwardness to him

Joshua has achieved absolutely nothing yet, other than ducking Kingpin, the guy who Fury won every round against. So he's knocked out a few cab drivers, and what? I'd even say Joey Abell is better/more dangerous than anyone Joshua has fought so far, and Fury knocked him out when completely fat and out of shame, and was generally messing around.

Why don't you give reasons as to why Fury is a 'bum' and AJ is the truth? Is it because you get secretly aroused by Joshua's bulging abs?

        Solid post!

@Cut Man- he's got you, there's nothing you can counter this with at this time. Fury has bashed good fighters man, done it in style and even done it putting on a show as well.

There's nothing in the performance of Joshua or his opponents as yet that demonstrates your point.

I don't want to say you are wrong, but until proven otherwise, for me Fury>Joshua.

I don't jump on the prospect bandwagon so easily, esp at HW.

It's all hype man. He's an average fighter at best. The promoter is obviously doing a good job because he's managed to convince people that Fury is somehow relevant in boxing. Because nothing has happened in a ring to back up that claim.

Absolutely. Anthony Joshua may well turn out to be the best HW who ever existed, but boxing is based on resume, not who looks the part.

If we judged boxers on who looks good while smashing up bums, Gennady Golovkin would be p4p number 1.

I happen to be very promotional of Golovkin as you well know and am itching to counter..

But since we've managed to concur here on this other issue, I'd prefer to let you have that cheap shot. Nice one!!

You jumped in the fury bandwagon pretty quickly, and the wheels are about to off as soon as he steps in the ring with a real fighter.

Who are these good fighter he's faced? Name one that suggests Fat Fury even deserves to in the poll?

Fury has been around for 7 years fighting other bums in Britain and Ireland

AJ has only been a pro for 2 and already he's a better fighter. Give him the same amount of time and I guarantee you he won't be that position. He'll be a world champion multiple times.

Jumped in the bandwagon pretty quickly? He's a top rated fighter with 7 years and 23 professional fights experience and weighs 260lbs and stands 6'9" with a gigantic reach as well. He has faced decent opposition, you can check his resume yourself. This is no bum. Dereck Chisora I'll choose to put him in the poll. Why not?

Fighting other bums over the channel? You mean clearing out the division for a local superfight with Haye, whom pulled out on him 2ce! Irrelevant whether Haye would bash him or not, the guy was clearly not ****ing around!

You cannot rubbish Fury's opponents and THEN not rubbish Joshua's for Christ sake! You must be high!

Ironically you tell me I jumped on the bandwagon too fast with Fury, even though I maintain Joshua MIGHT be or turn out better than Fury down the track.

Yet you are declaring right now after 10 fights of much lower quality, that the guy is not only better right now but will be a multiple champ in a few years time guaranteed? Who is in the band wagon early?

                    Very ironic

The caliber of his opposition wasn't the same. But I agree with you on the overall point that Povetkin has the power to KO wilder and Stiverne.
