Not sure about the circumstances or if Wladimir was misquoted but I don't think he should take him on as a paid opponent. If he wants to fight him next time he comes to the gym (or maybe invite him) offer to spar with him or sign a waiver he won't sue in a fight right there. Maybe even offer him to be your sparring partner. Or maybe do something like Foreman did and line up a few fighters that aren't heavy favorites and just do an exhibition with 4 or 5 fighters in one night and fight them all and make it a big exhibition event.

I know for a fact that wlad not only dropped wilder in sparring but he knocked him flat out. anyway,,,I doubt very much wlad will fight briggs. he was probably misquoted. hes always stated he wants that wbc belt

Wilder is bad news for Wlad. Wlad bullies these smaller fighters and often times like a sissy, hitting and holding, hugging his way through the rounds. If he has an active younger stronger taller fighter who is more athletic and has a good jab, it will cause him fits. Not saying Wilder is better but Wlad im sure is not in any rush to take that fight if he can pick on the old Briggs and younger but non threatening Jennings of the world.
