Go watch him vs Alfonso Gomez, he was outboxed for a few rounds until a bad stoppage. That fight tells you all you need to know about how good this guy is. That being said he's exciting to watch and appears to be willing to fight people so he's good in my book.

The only fight he is ducking is Cotto and that's because he'll only fight him in Canelo's hometown, on Canelo's date. Canelo has never fought a "ducked" fighter. If you or he himself want to market him as that he should fight GGG and shut me up. That won't happen though, so until then he'll stick to his own custom weightclass with people a division below it.

Jabs still counts. Canelo was missing all night against Trout, a knockdown can't make up for all those lost rounds. I'm not saying Trout fought an entertaining fight, but you don't have to be entertaining to win, Trout won clearly.

He really isn't anything special. Concrete feet, average power, can't cut off a ring, decent hand speed.

If it wasn't for his good looks he wouldn't be so popular. Golden Boy sold him to us that he's the next big thing, he's average at best.
