To be fair to Froch. If the last punch he throws in a boxing ring is that sweet knockout shot of a Groves at Wembley, in front of 80,000 people then it's a pretty spectacular and satisfying way to go out. Very few fighters leave the sport on such a monumental note.

I really don't understand Froch's obsession with Chavez Jr. I think he's drastically overestimating Chavez's star power.

It's the only fight that's out there that will be a PPV in America.

Why would Hopkins even be on Froch's radar?

Hopkins is 3-2, in his last 5. 3-3 in his last 6 if you count when he quit against Dawson as a loss.

He just came off a 12-0 drumming against Kovalev and almost died in the last round.

That, on top of the fact he brings no money to the table.

I don't know why there is even a discussion.
