It is Bob Arum's fault. Alex Ariza said it, Julio Chavez Sr said it. It all came out this week.

I can't link videos here yet but watch the fighthype.com video on youtube of Ariza talking about how Arum is at fault for holding back Chaves jr, Mike Garcia and Cotto, and how they couldn't get the big fights until the broke away from Arum.

How Arum took all the money from the Macau deal and agreed to 5 fights in China.

You don't think Floyd Mayweather is a legend?. He's one of the all time greats. Maybe the greatest defensive fighter in history.

Who cares about Ariza and what he says lol Floyd should be a little more specific when saying its arums fault, like what exactly is the issue.

His lack of heart has wasted his entire career. He has done great things don't get me wrong but his "legacy and career" are no where near that of true legends of the sport. Despite anything good he has accomplished thus far, he will forever be remembered as the guy who was afraid to fight Pac.

Right, care to explain how Bradley has made more than any Hymen fighter has (excluding Mayweather) over the last 3 years directly because he signed with Top Rank? The biggest fight of Chavez jr's career was against Martinez.........during which time he was signed with Top Rank. Ariza is nothing more than a bitter ex-affiliate who is now on the "other" side of enemy lines but his word is the truth now?

Waiting for some more information on this fight. So far Lampley is the only one to speak publicly on it.

Some rumors of a 154.5 catch weight is disappointing. If true I thought Mayweather would allow Cotto a few more pounds.

But when you think about it. Despite being the challenger, Mayweather is still the A side. So he can lay down the terms and Cotto have little choice but to accept.

154.5 is quite low and It means Cotto will have to change diet and training style, coming into the fight out of prime physical condition.
