Floyd has stated after that fight it's still his toughest fight. Really? From the horses mouth you hear him say it's the toughest fight and you still have to deny it? Judah didn't knock Floyd down, if you look at a replay you'll see he was stepping on his foot. I believe it was accidentally but that's the only reason Floyd lost his balance, nothing more.

Also, if you looked at Floyds career he's stated at every turn that Emmaneul Augustus was his toughest fight prior to Cotto. The guy interviewing him even mentions it before Floyd answers Cotto. It wasn't a closely scored fight but every round except extremely hard earned. Floyd has slowed down just enough and Cotto's in much better shape now. 2 or 3 more clean punches in 3 or 4 close rounds could mean all the difference.

TBH maidana gave floyd a tougher fight. He won more rounds in the first fight and in the second knocked out floyds tooth and had floyd holding and running scared all night. Cotto rematch is pointless, i'd rather floyd just retire

LOL you missed the point imbecile.

The fact is most fans believe the fight was close, the boxing writers believe the fight was close, hence why they are willing to make the rematch.

Why isnt nobody talking about a Guerrero-Mayweather II???? because nobody thought that fight was close but they think Mayweather vs Cotto was close dumbass.

Noticed how Floyd tried to rematch all these fighters because most fans and writers believed the their fights where close.

          Mayweather vs Hoya supposedly close

          Mayweather vs Cotto supposedly close

          Mayweather vs Maidana supossedly close

Mayweather vs freakin Hatton was said to be close after 7 rounds

yet while most fans where crying how Floyd is overrated because he had "close" fights with those fighters they never wanted to see a rematch LOL

You clowns cant have it both ways because if you do we'll get Mayweather vs Cotto II.

Nobody thought Mayweather - Cotto was close except for Cotto fan boys. That was a clear Mayweather decision. Quit justifying this fight for the coward.

I'm not justifying the fight you idiot.

I'm saying that ironically enough most fans and writers justified the fight themselves ROFL with this fight was "close" garbage.

                    ROFL

Only 10 writers out of 31 thought it was either 117-111 or 118-110 which is the truth and the rest had 115-113 or 116-112 which is a joke.

If 25 writers had it 117 or 118 points for Floyd then the rematch would not have happen but somehow most thought it was 8-4 or 7-5 hence this whole close fight BS.

Look at the comments in boxing threads and articles about this fight, you will find that most of them say the fight was close.
