But now they are not willing to agree to those terms because Floyd is the favorite, meaning showtime stands to make a huge profit over HBO.

Stop trying to spin everything into Floyd not wanting the fight. I'm sure Espinoza and the people who made up Mayweather's contract also want the fight only on showtime which is why Floyd said what he said.
no you are wrong. those were different times when lewis and tyson fought and under completely different management and leadership. that is clearly poor business practice to gamble like that and the new people in charge know this (even if they believe pac has a very good chance of winning they know in boxing anything can happen). HBO wants to make guaranteed the most money they can from this huge event and i say absolutely good for them they have that right.

floyd is once again putting up roadblocks and you floyd rejects won't admit it. he, espinoza and al hyamon never wanted the fight. this is all just them trying to save face and say that at least they tried but they never tried to begin with.

      WAKE UP!

Says the guy with a serial rapist as a profile picture. Floyd is a convicted woman beater who has to pay women to hang out with him and bill cisby is a huge serial rapist. Hmm wonder how you interact with women?

[If Cotto makes it another competitive fight with Floyd, Oscar would still be looking to make the fight anyway]

HBO, according to the rumors, isn't willing to gamble on Pacquiao like they 'gambled' on Lennox Lewis (even they don't think Pacquiao has a chance) so they need to just sit down somewhere.
Cotto would make alot more money as a side to canelo than be would making a paltry 8 million to fight mayweather. If mayweather ducks which it seems you are hoping he does for whatever reason, there will be a huge backlash and nobody will watch that fight. He is backed into a corner. As to your othr theory it would seem to me that HBO wants it shown on both networks how badly Manny schools mayweather, so more people will tune into his next fights. If they thought he was going to lose why would they want that shown on both networks? Does that make any sense?

You need to wake up. First you admit that HBO won't agree to the terms of the Lewis-Tyson fight because they want to make as much money a possible then you say it's Floyd and Espinoza holding up the fight? Which one is it my man? You're trying to have it both ways. The people around Floyd have stated he wants the fight so stop with that B.S.

Obviously HBO doesn't have faith in their fighter because if they did all this network stuff would be resolved by now. HBO took the gamble when it came to Lennox Lewis but won't do so when it comes to Manny Pacquiao. Why? Because they know he'll likely lose.
