HBO and Team Pacquiao deserve a fair shake. After all Pacquiao is the more explosive and exciting fighter and that's what the fans want to see. Plus dude has all of the Filipino country glued to the tube every time he fights which is more than we can say for Floyd.

What is important is the fighters want the fight. People taking sides in network wars is pathetic though. HBO and Showtime need to get it done, period. Whatever they have to do. I dunno why everything need to be a battle between good and evil around here.

That's false clearly. Floyd has had much better ppvs over the last few years. So by that token no, pac isn't what the fans wanna pay to see. And what goes on on pinoy tv doesn't affect American networks so why should they care?

lol first ronnie n article i saw that wasn't trashed

so they can't agree with the delayed ppv broadcast...not the next saturday replay or something. they probably think the delayed ppv broadcast would still make a lot of buys but i don't think so. in this day of recorders and **** not a lot of people would buy a delayed broadcast. it's not the same during the time of tyson-lewis, if you missed it you got no choice but to buy the delayed broadcast. these days, it will just go to the recorder and you can go on with your normal life.

What I said was Pacquiao puts his country on hold. When Mayweather fights, the US don't give a crap. We have over 100 million homes. American networks get paid royalties if you don't know.

My thoughts Exactly But i hope we are both wrong because i want to see Floyd get beat up by Manny

Haymon and Floyd instructed Espinoza to not give an inch ultimately killing the fight. Floyd saves face and showtime can blame hbo.
absolutely this. and it's funny how the floyd rejects just laugh at this when in actuality they know there is very much a lot of truth to it. floyd said himself that he will only have the fight on showtime rather than showtime/HBO eventhough top rank is in partnership with HBO to broadcast pac's remaining fights (till 2016).

floyd created another road block which is the fight can only be on showtime and nothing else when he knows that pac and top rank are in partnership/have strong ties with HBO.

FLOYD, ESPINOZA, AND AL HAYMON DON'T WANT THE FIGHT AND IT'S VERY CLEAR NOW.

BS. Obviously whichever networks get the replay rights will make way more money. Like the article said, both networks agreed to have the winners channel have the replay rights when it was Lewis and Tyson. Obviously HBO was willing to agree to that since Lewis was such a heavy favorite over Tyson. But now they are not willing to agree to those terms because Floyd is the favorite, meaning showtime stands to make a huge profit over HBO.

Stop trying to spin everything into Floyd not wanting the fight. I'm sure Espinoza and the people who made up Mayweather's contract also want the fight only on showtime which is why Floyd said what he said.
