well, whats going on is that everyone on pacs team have said they agreed to everything presented to them by floyds team, nobody from floyds team has denied these statements, history has shown that floyd, and his team, are quick to take their case to social media in order to paint their own picture, they havent done that. so, any intelligent individual would naturally assume that the statements from pacs team are true. of course you could come up with some other explanation for why pacs team would lie about having agreed to everything and floyds team letting them lie, but then you would just be looking for reasons to avoid the obvious.

STFU! You have no clue about PPV buys, the ins and outs of this biz; stop playing fantasyland like you know what the hell you're talking about, or pre-suppose you know the biz better than those that actually do this for a living.
Secondly you're an idiot if you think Floyd-Cotto 2 is a bigger fight than Cotto-Canelo. Floyd makes his $32M, and that's it. There's no demand for a Floyd-Cotto rematch, there was nothing controversial in the first fight, it wasn't that close. Cotto never asked for a rematch at the time, and Floyd never extended one. Fans weren't asking for one. Floyd's numbers have dropped like a rock since the Canelo fight. They lied about the numbers in Maidana 2, and the true numbers have never been disclosed. SHO has stated "No Comment". Floyd is the only one going to the bank; SHO has taken a financial beating. The public are basically saying in Floyd's declining numbers, "we're no longer interested in Floyd's antics, paying $70 for his PPV. The only fight they want is Pacquiao".
Canelo/Cotto, is an epic Mexico-Puerto Rico clash that is a massive sell given the history of great Mexican vs Puerto Rican legends. Held in Texas Stadium supported heavily by Mexican fight fans in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Mexico close by... Is the biggest fight this side of Floyd/Pacquiao. To say Floyd/Cotto 2 is a bigger fight is hilarious. Nobody who knows anything about Boxing agrees with that!!! LOL! STFU!
-Mayweather v. Cotto was seen as a good fight, where Floyd faced some adversity (still won the fight 9-3, but whatever). You put the four episodes of All Access behind it, hype Cotto up as Puerto Rico's first four-division champion, sell the Martinez as a rebirth, hype the re-emergence of Cotto under Roach's tutelage, talk up Mayweather chasing a 6th divisional championship, and you create fan interest.
... should've honestly read the rest of your post before responding. would've realized that I was merely dealing with a troll and wouldn't have wasted the time. oh wellComment

HBO and Showtime just need to pull the deal they did with Tyson/Lewis, it's really that simple. Then again, we had Don King then who wanted to make the fight and Tyson who was looking for one last payday.Comment

It is that simple but HBO dont want to gamble on Manny winning which was how they worked out the Tyson Lewis deal , this time around HBO are not confident in Manny and they are trying to make another deal that does not hinge on who wins , Showtime is fine with it because they got Floyd .Comment

The hang-up now, according to an official close to the negotiation but not authorized to speak publicly, is how Showtime (which televises Mayweather fights on pay-per-view) and HBO (which broadcasts Pacquiao bouts) can agree to broadcast the fight jointly.
Another official said CBS Chairman Leslie Moonves and HBO Chairman Richard Plepler are expected to be involved in talks this week to hammer out the deal.

And if I was FMJ and had part of my money tied to the network deal, then I would be saying if asked that the deal is not done. That only makes sense.Comment
