you are a mad man!!!!!!!!!!!!how do you see this going? Im taking pascal by k.o. Before the 7th.
He has the edge in durability
speed although not by much
countering- which he does way better than kovalev
and he has the benefit of kovalevs defense being piss poor.
I think pascal lands in the center of the ring and he has the advantage in exchanges as we have seen kovalev get rocked by weaker guys than pascal who has taken bombs to the face and walked through it.Comment

Oh yeah, anyone that doesn't believe that Kovalev who outside of beating 50 year old Hopkins loses to Pascal who has stood in with far better and more accomplished fighters than Kovalev is a troll.Comment

Idk pascal saying this is like the outcome of pac-may and the fans of the loser would say " it isn't the same fighter from 4-5 years ago"Comment

I think Kov's win came more from him listening to Jackson, instigating exactly what Jackson told him to, and being consistent throughout. Yes, his power makes it easier for him to be the boss, but still you have to have serious boxing talent to outwork Hopkins.
And incidentally, I will assume Kov will repeat vs Pascal. Kov just seems to execute and stick with the plan better under Jackson's guidance. And I wouldn't be surprised to see a late KO of Pascal.
Just remember, right before Dawson was cut, he was jolting Pascal. Now, compare Dawson power vs Kov power.Last edited by PunchyPotorff; 01-17-2015, 04:35 AM.Comment

Of course there is , being 3 years older can make quite a difference. And the older you are the worse you get.
Three years is the difference between Mosley TKO'ing Margarito and getting beat by Canelo, for instance.
Back to topic, I favor Kovalev, he seems to be the smarter fighter and has very heavy hands.
Pascal could be effective with his aggression, but unless he lands something big early I see him getting beat.Comment
