You could be right but this is just my take

How is he robbing them blind?

Like I said earlier Showtime cards will be stacked again and probably 4-5 good /decent cards on NBC if the majority of the good fights are on Showtime I don't think Espinoza will mind .he doesn't have the budget or the amount of dates to satisfy all of Haymon fighters, but if gets the best ones I'm sure he'll be ok with that.

The NBC cards aren't competing directly with Showtime id think it be a step above a FNF card. Showtimes competition is HBO so if they continue to get gains in that department and stack their cards I don't think it'll be a issue.

Id like to believe this plan has been years in the making and Haymon probably needs a premium cable network and he's doesn't seem to be welcome at HBO. I don't think he'd throw Showtime away for some NBC sports time slots.

ESPN's Stephan A Smith said Floyd cost them $16 million this year
Look at the purses and ratings for Stevenson, Santa Cruz, Thurman, Guerrerro, etc

Top 16 as per Fat Dan on twitter:

        1 - Chavez-Vera 2 - 1.39M (HBO)
        2 - BHop-Kovalev - 1.328M (HBO)
        3 - Golovkin-Rubio - 1.304M (HBO)
        4 - Crawford-Gamboa 1.208M (HBO)
        5 - Marquez-Alvarado 1.198M (HBO)

        6 - Donaire-Walters 1.088M (HBO)
        7 - Provodnikov-Algieri 1.046M (HBO)
        8 - Salido-Lomachenko 1.017M (HBO)
        9 - Kovalev-Cedric Agnew 1.006M (HBO)
        10 - Viktor Postol-Aydin 1.002M (HBO)

        11 - Kovalev-Caparello 990k (HBO)
        12- Golovkin-Geale 984k (HBO)
        13 - Pascal-Bute 982k (HBO)
        14 - Garcia-Herrera 972k (Showtime)
        15 - Bradley-Chaves 966k (HBO)
        16 - Arreola-Stiverne 940k (ESPN)

SHO didn't have a single fight that did 1 million views. They barely had any that did over 750k

Theres no way there making a profit paying these guys what they are and no one watching

Showtime has 1/4 less subscribers then HBO so it's not exactly comparing apples to apples . My guess is that even with their lower rating then in 2013 My guess is it's still higher then when Haymon & Mayweather weren't with Showtime.

Even if the report of 16 million is true with Mayweather ( which I'm not convinced ) I'm sure there is some benifits of having Haymons stable over at Showtime which off sets some of the losses.

I know your a Mayweather/Espinoza/Shaeffer hater and you could be right and if you are then yeah their going to be royally f.u.ck..Ed But I don't think it's as bad as you make it out to be.

once Richard / Oscar had a falling out Haymon obviously started feeding Oscar dogsh.it to get his fighters out of their contracts and to stick it to Oscar .Fans aren't ****** they knew what it was and ratings dipped and if they continue to feed the fans garbage people won't watch. That's why I think with Oscar out its going to go back to 2013 as far as the qaulity of fights being made on showtime.

Because if they stick with the program that they used in 2014 I can't see them going anywhere but downhill.

Doesn't matter cause Oscar and Bob will do business together and there's lots of good fights to be made then.

You can't be the future cash cow if you have no one elite to actually fight, especially not speaking English. Canelo has reached a point where he's bubbling, just on the cusp of really breaking out into something.

The path to the cash used to go through Canelo; with Showtime now having a lot more of the budget free, and Haymon controlling the bulk of the talent in the weight class, that is no longer the case.

Just like Quillin has been locked out of the bulk of the action at 160, Canelo is on the verge of being locked out of all of the action at 154.
