He's going to lure guys from 154-160 to sign with Golden Boy to get a chance to fight him for the big payday if anything. He is the next PPV star and he's only 24. They will do fine. It's already working with the signing of David today.

Well, it's back to the drawing board for GBP they should be thinking of getting contracts extensions on Khan, Matthysse and LSC, if that means spending some money on them them, then so be it. They also need to start scouting young talent to their stable.

Im a Oscar hater and predicted this exact scenario when all this was first announced but I like the Lemiux signing and they have a couple decent mid range fighters and some prospects but I don't think GB will ever be the same.

Just got paid a settlement up to $50 million

Gets paid a flat fee if any of Haymon's fighters want to fight on their cards

Has the 3rd (or 4th) biggest draw (US ratings) in Canelo in his prime while Floyd and Pac have 1-2 years left. This could change cuz Canelo has to learn to speak english to become a truly big superstar and guys like GGG, JCC Jr and Kovalev are doing huge ratings.

I like the signing of Lemieux today, good job on GBP. I don't think Oscar has it in him to make other fighters sign just for a shot at Canelo, kinda like Arum was doing just for people like Mosley and Marquez to fight Manny. He just doesn't seem like that good of a businessman but he's got time to improve. I'm rooting for him. I just don't see Canelo going that much further then he already is as far as star power.

BHop can talk fighters into signing with GBP cuz all boxers respect him and he has first hand storys about how Haymon tried to pull a fast one on him with Stevenson

Eventually I agree cuz I think the plan is for Haymon to use TMT promotions.

I don't think TMT is ready for that yet as of now.

And SHO got screwed more by Floyd and Al Haymon than GBP

BHOP went over to HBO cuz Haymon was trying to screw him and Floyd/Haymon lost SHO big money, not Oscar

SHO needs GBP desperately cuz NBC is haymons top priority now
