thats right!! Thanks for reminding me about Paulie...even he had a WW title before khan! And i do agree about herrera over garcia btw...but what does herrera have to do with Khan being a hypejob?

schaefer stacked fights so people can be a promotional company CEO fans. Its called a resume. He knew he was leaving. Why would he not give the people a lasting impression that he was the best matchmaking mother****er alive?

Now im not saying he premeditated that or he is bamboozling the fans, but its exactly what happened. I too want to see stacked cards. I dont care who puts it on. But seeing as this Schaefer guy has a history of it, then why wouldnt i check out what he puts on whether it be under Haymon's payroll or whoever?

No doubt..the last stacked card was from GBP in 2013 while Schaefer was CEO..and those are the facts, fans have been starving since Oscar canned him.

I find it hilarious people are saying that somehow top rank is bad for boxing and that haymon fighters are the most popular when top rank and HBO completely cleaned house in the ratings and it wasn't even nearly a close competition. Nobody can even explain how bob arum is had for boxing because the truth is he is the best promoter in the game.

He has always made the best fights and calls his fighters out when they don't want to face tough competition. He did this when Mikey Garcia ducked gamboa he said Mikey just wants him to hand him a pacquiao fight but doesn't want to earn it. He also called out Chavez Jr. For declining 17 million guaranteed for 2 fights with one of them being Ggg. Lol scared people like that go over to al haymon who is the dumping grounds for fighters who want it easy.

As far as his fighters are concerned he still has pacquiao, Crawford, Mikey Garcia, Marquez, still promotes cottos fights, mile Alvarado, Brandon Rios, that super middleweight guy Ramirez, as well as pretty much all the top featherweights including donaire and lomachenko, hand the list goes on and on. Oh and Tim Bradley who also just re signed with them.

Funny how the fighters never complain about him yet somehow he is bad for boxing or mistreats his fighters. Most of the top guys keep signing back with them so bob must be doing something right. Even Mikey Garcia said he was happy with how top rank has handled his career so far and hopes to be back with them.

The only guys who complain are the ones who want easy fights like Chavez jrm even chavez Sr. Admonished his son for ducking ggg and signing with haymon. Its a sad state of affairs and haymon will be left in the dust if he wont work with others.

Haymon is the reason we haven't seen the greatest fights. Do a little research and you will see Oscar did this so that haymon cant block any more good fights. Oscar has been trying to put on good fights but haymon blocks them.

Meanwhile shaefer went behind Oscars back this whole time and was plotting with haymon for this to happen. Of course Oscar canned him before he steered other fighters to al haymon lol shaefer was such a snake he was supposed to be helping golden boy when in reality he was helping haymon and mayweather so that he could go run their companies

If Broner's 147 title is counted as legit, than I don't know what to say. If Khan was offered an opponent as bad as Malignaggi for a 147 belt, trust me, he'd have one.

This pretty muchs sums it up. Golden Boy / Al Haymon / Showtime and the sport in general could of been just fine standing alone at the top. Bob Arum and Top Rank just don't have enough value $$ to offer besides Manny Pacquiao. There was ABSOLUTELY no need for Oscar and GBP to go out of their way to work with Top Rank. GBP did not need to get rid of Richard, a guy who showed how great he is at what he does in the year 2013. Now i just don't know how things are going to turn out..let's hope it's all for the better.

Either way you slice it. Schaefer as GB CEO, Haymon staging fights, it was successful top to bottom and the fans were happy...great business model.

This isn't the only news site to report this story, boxingscene left a lot out. Go do a little research on google you will see everything in talking about includin how Oscar is doing this because haymon was blocking Oscar from making good fights
