Personal problems or not, Oscar started that company and got jacked by Al & Rich.
2013 was a huge year in boxing and GB lead the way. I cant even remember how much events they staged but i remember the cards were stacked from top to bottom and while schaefer & haymon were doing their thing GB was clearly delivering a bettrr product than the competition..the fans were happy. All that stppoed when oscar fired schaefer. Perspective i guess

Thanks to Bob, Golden Boy has effectively lost most of there marquee fighters. Although i believe GBP will continue to be a major player, with Schaefer and Haymon they were THEE MAJOR PLAYER. Bob struck a heavy blow to GBP and they are still recovering.

Ive boiled it down to a simple formula: When Top Rank is struggling, Boxing thrives. When Top Rank is thriving, Boxing struggles.
And just when we almost had Bob out, ALMOST!! Oscar comes throwing him a life jacket..SMFH. And how has that helped Oscar??? Bob robs his fighter(herrera) & proves hes still the same ol snake.
Jay-Z VS Al Haymon. Whose going to be the first Haymon fighter to jump ship? It's going to be Broner or Garcia. Maybe now that the Shaeffer lawsuit ordeal is over can Haymon get the NBC project underway b/c the wolves have been waiting on Haymon to make a move as a promoter so they can tear his ass apart.

My only concern with the NBC venture is the freaking commercials. The main reason I DVR ESPN FNF is so that I can fast forward through the damn commercials.

All that stopped when oscar found out that schaefer was letting fighters sign with haymon and was still promoting them even though they had no contractual obligations to goldenboy

If anything top rank threw golden boy a life jacket. HBO/top rank swept the floor in 2014 without help from anyone. Its funny that every single promoter works with top rank except al haymon, but then again haymon is also trying to block out roc nation and has been blocking Oscar from making good fights. Bob arum is the best promoter on the business, at least for the fans anyways. And you don't hear the fighters complaining that much either, even Mikey Garcia said he was happy with the way top rank has handled his career and hopes to be back fighting with them. Tim Bradley resigned with them, so did pacquiao. Cotto still works with them in a fight for fight basis and so does Marquez. Chavez only left because he ducked ggg whom bob arum called Chavez out for ducking him. Top rank is still the top dogs
SMH. Do you know how the whole "Cold War" came about? Or do just recall this past year 2014? Top Rank staging in house fights? TRs business model had depleted their own stable and they were forced to work with other promoters.

Nobody can even explain how bob arum is had for boxing because the truth is he is the best promoter in the game.

He has always made the best fights and calls his fighters out when they don't want to face tough competition. He did this when Mikey Garcia ducked gamboa he said Mikey just wants him to hand him a pacquiao fight but doesn't want to earn it. He also called out Chavez Jr. For declining 17 million guaranteed for 2 fights with one of them being Ggg. Lol scared people like that go over to al haymon who is the dumping grounds for fighters who want it easy.

As far as his fighters are concerned he still has pacquiao, Crawford, Mikey Garcia, Marquez, still promotes cottos fights, mile Alvarado, Brandon Rios, that super middleweight guy Ramirez, as well as pretty much all the top featherweights including donaire and lomachenko, hand the list goes on and on. Oh and Tim Bradley who also just re signed with them.

Funny how the fighters never complain about him yet somehow he is bad for boxing or mistreats his fighters. Most of the top guys keep signing back with them so bob must be doing something right. Even Mikey Garcia said he was happy with how top rank has handled his career so far and hopes to be back with them.

The only guys who complain are the ones who want easy fights like Chavez jrm even chavez Sr. Admonished his son for ducking ggg and signing with haymon. Its a sad state of affairs and haymon will be left in the dust if he wont work with others.
Bob Arum can do no wrong can he? it seems you and I dont know the same Bob Arum.
He has the FW Div on lock no doubt. Props. Because he promotes all of the players at 126 thats why you can toot bobs horn. As for Timpthy Bradley, im a fan and he deserves better match ups & is being held back. Same goes for Pac, if it wasnt for Bob we would all see them in better fights with better comp..as a fan of both fighters i cant understand how you can defend Bob on their behalf...might i remind of of all the "controversial" decisions associated with Top Rank, he11 he even robbed both in seperated bouts, even his cashcow in Pac. Do you fall for Bobs "public outbursts" everytime he robs his fighters at the cards? Its just like clpckwork, bad decision then Bob says "this is an outrage!! Rematch!!" You fall for it every time i bet

Tim Bradley had made more money than any Haymon fighter not named Floyd.

Pac has made the most money besides Floyd...

Floyds making the most because Floyd made the jump to be his own promoter. The rest of the Haymon guys are hoping and begging to crack one mil...

Canelo is bigger than Garcia and Broner put together

This is a successful business model. Everyone involved with both Floyd PPV's this year lost money except for GBP (and Al Haymon)
You are about as dumb as PAC...Floyd win all the way around ...delahoya lost that's why canelo has 2 terrible ppv fights ...low low numbers ....show me proof canelo is bringing bigger numbers ...this dude was protected until his 38 fights and you idiots want to talk about Al fights ...stop the bs ....I guarentee you Al was setting his business straight now he is about to put on a show ...the bob father and gayloahoya ...need to bow out ...oscar F up his old company and PAC will be the last person Bob ****s in this era

Maybe he would but with the state and substance of the title holders at 147 its not gonna be easy pickens for Khan, maybe he can put that "silver" title on the line against Ricky Hatton, the media can sell that...probably too risky for Khan tho
