People are biased for and against Rigo, to the point that it's extremely difficult to find common ground in any debates regarding his career. People either bash him for minimal reasons or exaggerate certain aspects of his career.

What I'm saying is that although Rigo attempts to fight the best, he doesn't land those fights and thus is forced to take on whatever fighters step forward. Sure Amagasa and Kokietgym aren't world beaters but they aren't stellar victories, perhaps the manner in which Rigo disposed of them is, but their level as contenders is subpar to say the least.

Now, say Leo Santa Cruz fought the same two fighters last year and beat them both in a similar manner to Rigo, would there be an outrage if Leo were to be boosted to the Top 10 PFP Rankings after sId performances? Of course, because Boxing fans at all levels would recognize the fact that neither of those wins meant anything in the grand scheme of things. For anyone to attempt to sit here and justify Rigo's boosting on anyone's PFP Rankings by beating two domestic fighters is ridiculous to me. Those same folks whom agree with such actions are the same folks who would bash a fighter the likes of LSC if he were to fight the very same opposition and garner the same accolades.

I agree, Rigo's skill is without a doubt in the top ten of the sport. However, his competition during the last year has been extremely limited and not strong enough to even suggest any type of boosting in any way, shape or form regarding any rankings of any sort.

This is also coming from Fat Dan Rafael who for the life of him couldn't give Rigondeaux any respect for his wins, the man who calls him boring, fights in Japan out of necessity because of his "Boring" style, and a man who bashed him from getting onto networks.

An actual analyst that dislikes him, ranks him #3.

well then, more reasons for other fighters to stop being chicken and fight him, if either lsc or frampton beat him, they should go on the p4p list, right? Why not take the risk and beat a p4p boxer? specially if as some have posted here, he's an overated soft bum with a glass chin. Come on 122's grow a pair!

Martinez knocked out Paul Williams when PWill was "officially" p4p number 3 but Martinez hasn't been regarded as a #3 p4p for long since he didn't look flamboyant after the Dzinziruk fight. I'm not sure Rigondeaux's performance against Amagasa was top 5 p4p worthy either.

What was Donaire if not a highly effective counter puncher. He was a bit one dimensiinal but he was one of the top counterpunchers.

Martinez had people arguing he was p4p #1 for years because of the Williams rematch. He was top 5 until the Murray fight because of it.

I'm just saying, he is not a fundamental machine. I'm not primarily picking on any one fascet of his game.

It was a very good win for Rigo to beat Donaire. I didn't realize it was going to catalault him into boxings top 5 in the world ....that's shocking.

You're making it up, and he started to drop at least in the fantasy rankings as soon as he had fought Barker.

How about Bradley when he went to War with Provodnikov? People had him top 5 p4p.

Mayweather when he sc****d by a Maidana who was soundly/easily outboxed by Devon Alexander? He's P4P no.1

Wlad Klit held on to Povetkin like his life depended on it for the duration of the 12 rounds... top 5 p4p.

Yet Rigo dominates nearly every second of a fight (except about 30 secs in the 7th) stopping the guy on his stool and apparently its a bad performance

I really hope LSC takes his stabilizers off and fights Rigo this year. That goes for Quigg and Frampton too. Hell even Kiko Martinez.

People doubting Rigo's quality are in for a shock
