I tend to agree. I encourage everyone to watch Morales-Pacquiao I. Again...very telling fight.

Pac went thru the ranks being a feeder fish. His first fight in the U.S. against
Ledwaba was in two weeks notice. Dela Hoya, margaritto, cotto these are all naturally bigger men.

I'm not taking anything away from Manny, I'm just stating a fact. Ever since his US debute the only fights where he was the underdog were Ledwaba, Barrera I and DLH.

Were Cotto and Margo bigger? Yes. Were they favored to beat Manny. NO. Neither was Hatton, Clottey or Mosley.

Again, I'm not trying to discredit Manny but just because he was the smaller guy most of the time doesn't mean he wasn't the favorite in nearly all of his fights.

Pacquiao seemed to fade a little in the first Bradley fight...not that Bradley was really hitting him with much but he seemed to take early minutes of the round off and then come on stronger towards the end...

That might have made the fight seem close...still looked like a robbery though

Pacquiao outlanded him almost 2 to 1, was the aggresir the while fight, and his punches hurt and stumbled Bradley, Bradleys punches were very weak too, it was a clear robbery of the highest degree.

I disagree with Hunter. Manny's style has changed drastically over the years and for the worse. I prefer the death by a thousand punches style that Pac had coming up in weight. Around the Oscar/Cotto fights his style became more refined: measured pace, more defense, less combination punching, etc. This version tries to box with Floyd while the old version tries to overwhelm him.

Freddie roach is very good at coming up with sound game plans. The only way to beat pacquiao by a decision is by robbery like the first Bradley fight. I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd paid off the judges in that fight, after all he never leaves Vegas and is buddy buddy with the commission. Floyd doesn't have the power to knock him out therefore the only way fir Floyd to win is by robbery.

I think its a testamant to just how truly great pacquiao is. Every opponent he's faced since de la Hoya has been at least ten pounds heavier than him on fight night. That includes Rios and algieri. Hes beaten all the best guys while also weighing 10-20 lbs less than them, which has affected his knockout chances but if he moves back down to 140 even though arum is saying he's not, he will be knocking guys out left and right. Algieri should have been counted out in the 9th round, he made it to his feet at 8 and then turned his back on the ref and stumbled around the ring. His legs were still wobbling

This. The reason why Floyd don't want to fight Manny. He is not the conventional fighter you can study and learn all of his weaknesses right away. Marquez took 4 fights to Manny just to perfectly launch his attack and ko him.
