Why do people get upset when you question the validity of Cotto's win over Sergio?

The bottom line is that the Martinez win has put Cotto in line for another big fight and huge payday.

Not to long ago Martinez was a legit threat to Floyd but now there is only a lot of ppl crying when the vast majority including myself thought that Cotto was going to lose.

i knew cotto was gonna dispose the martinez that wore knee braces, i knew it, what i didnt think to ever imagine was the simple fact that cotto lost to trout, austin trout, i said austin trout, lol, he beat cotto with ease at cottos middleweight reign, lol,

i was completely right about the cotto martinez ,easy to guess, i was in shock when somebody like trout easily defeated cotto, you were probably too, lol, that is one sad fact we both cant change, lol,

Poll didn't really provide for a neutral answer. I put that Sergio was done but there should be an answer for the win was legit but Sergio's knees gave him issues and he wasn't prime or something to that effect. but it does show that by a 50 to 30 margin, people felt that cotto fought a cripple, lol, if anything either than irritate cotto fans for reminding them that they dont exactly validate this fight vs martinez as a legit healthy martinez win, lol, it at least shows how people feel how far away that martinez is from his prime

There is NO conclusive proof that Martinez knee was the issue on the night his temple refused to handle a Cotto hook. You kids act like Martinez resume was pure gold? Austin Trout is a good fighter, don't know why your talking like he's complete shlt. Canelo got a gift decision against the guy so it isn't like he's straight garbage. Trout fought a good fight against Cotto fighting from the outside using his long reach advantage while not letting Cotto come in. Reminded me of Winkey against Tito.

Do you know what the word "conclusive" means you clown? If it is not conclusive, it cannot be 100% guaranteed that he used them against Cotto. It only came into question after Margacheato got caught against Mosley.

I definitely want to give Cotto all the credit that can be given for this win, I did think he looked very good in this fight. However (as we all knew this sentence would begin something like this), yeah.......Sergio was not even 85% of himself just a year earlier in my estimation. At first, I thought I was selling Cotto short but I rewatched the fight several times and each time I did, I kept seeing a worse and worse Martinez until the point where I thought to myself, man, you are just seeing it this way because you wanted Martinez to win, so I just said to myself, Sergio wasn't 100% and Cotto looked good.....that's all I've got.

I can see that but I wanted to find some neutral ground for this fight. I am a pretty big fan of Cotto and an admitted Sergio nuthugger, so I try my best to find a common stance. Given the choices though, Sergio was FAR less than 100% and I find it hard to believe that anyone would say that he was unless there was a distinct agenda in play.
