The entire 24/7 episode on the fight was Martinez's camp trying to convince us his knee was fine. It was obvious on fight night it was not. Like somebody else said I guarantee Martinez did not even spar ONCE for the fight to prevent risk to his knee before fight.

Martinez's entire training camp was simply to get him to the ring on fight night so they could get paid. Period.

Martinez woulda fought him in a wheelchair if it came down to it. He wanted the "name" on his resume and wanted the big fight. The only big fight he had prior to that was Chavez. Cotto didn't choose to make history against no Golovkin or Quillin.
