2013 Showtime/GBP fights were outstanding! 2014 Showtime/GBP sucks! What happened? Richard Schaefer left GBP. Oscar and Arum are trying to freeze out Haymon, but the plan might backfire on them. NBC is the platform we need in boxing. Everyone can't pay for boxing. They don't pay for football, basketball, or baseball, and they didn't used to have to pay for great boxing. Does anyone remember Wide World of Sports with Howard Cosell? Too many PPVs is not good for the sport!

This is the reason I dislike Lampley, with his bias ass. He's such a hypocrite! Notice he didn't mention Bob Arum and his soft touch approach for some of his fighters. Manny fought a damn kick boxer on PPV. He didn't make mention of Provodnikov fighting a 60yr old Jose Luis Castillo.

Yeah, those are quality fights right there, according to Jim Lampley. I see he also didn't mention the Pacquiao vs Vargas fight that'll be on HBO PPV. He also didn't mention how one of Haymon's fighters just got robbed on HBO last week

He may or may not be a hypocrite, but that doesn't necessarily make his statements regarding Haymon inaccurate.
