Lol, why dont we stick to what has actually been said rather than making up interpretations. Canelo has said he will not move no matter who Mayweather fights, his statements in no way hinted that that stance is predicated on whether Mayweather fights Pac. Your conclusion is your opinion.

But just the last fight with Bradley he did 800k. Obviously ppv numbers were shiet for Algieri fight cuz he was pretty much unknown. We all knew nobody wanted to watch that fight.

Why doesn't mayweather just agree to fight on another date, like it or hate it he is the only Mexican so that date truly only dies have any significance for him not anybody else. Mayweather insisting on fighting on a Mexican holiday is ******ed, he is not Mexican so why is he insisting on that? Fights sell better in that date because Mexicans tune in on that date, which would make the canelo cotto fight even bigger, arum as a shrewd businessman knows Manny mayweather will sell 3 Millie any day, so why not maximize the money in both fights? This fight is so close this time alls mayweather has to do is say yes. If he doesn't I highly doubt ShowTime will match him with khan going head to head vs canelo and cotto, so either way I don't see mayweather fighting on that date. I predict hes going to duck the fight and use the date as an excuse, and canelo cotto will fight on that date which will force mayweather to move off it anyways, I still think he doesn't want to fight mammy, otherwise the date wouldn't be a huge issue

Seriously name one good reason that everyone should just bow down to mayweather and put the fight on that date? Its a MEXICAN holiday, it holds no meaning to him whatsoever so the date should be a non issue. This is just him on an ego power trip for no reason, and I suspect just another roadblock on getting the fight made.

Manny already agreed to take less money and the drug testing which hes been doing his last 3 fights anyways, and every demand he is asking for, the only thing mayweather has to do is agree to fight on another date and we could all see this fight finally. Like I said its a Mexican holiday so he doesn't have to fight on that date, it has no meaning or relevance to him. He could fight Manny on any date why does it have to be on the date that canelo wants to fight given that he is Mexican so the date holds significance to him and his fans, I totally agree with arum on this although I think if it risks the fight not being made I think arum should give in as long as hes treating Manny fair with the purse split
