Arum...You Don't Want To Make The Fight, JUST ADMIT IT! Now all of a sudden Mayweather fighting on Mexican Holiday is "DISRESPECTFUL"? **** OFF OLD MAN!
This is how ****** Arum thinks Boxing Fans are and he might be right because instead of calling out Arum people will just go right back to blaming Mayweather no matter what
I love how Arum acts like he actually cares about how it should be Mexicans fighting on Cinco de Mayo. If the situation was in his favor to throw a fight on that date without Mexicans he'd do it in a heartbeat and somehow justify it.
Oscar already said he's willing to move Cotto-Canelo from May 2. Floyd also isn't budging from May 2. Arum should forget talking about May 2 being for Mexicans (it's completely a non-issue now) since Oscar already gave the indication that Cotto-Canelo will not happen on that date if Pac-Floyd will go through.
You just linked me to an article detailing how Arum is working his ass off to get the fight done- constantly meeting with Moonves (CEO of CBS) and Plepler (Chairman of HBO). Also, details how Ken Hershman (head of HBO sports) is waiting for someone from Floyd's side to call his office. Also repeats what everyone in the industry has been saying all along- all indications are that Floyd doesn't want the fight.
Where exactly does it say that Haymon is 'on board' like you claimed?
Wow. Did you actually read the article? If you did, you must be living in the state of Denial, which is located on Fantasy Island. Hershman was making a joke about waiting by the phone for Mayweather to call. Two meetings with the head of CBS is not my idea of working his ass off. I didn't read anything in the article about Mayweather not wanting the fight. In fact, it was just the opposite as Arum himself said that Al Haymon had met with Moonves on behalf of Mayweather to discuss the fight.
Time for you to get your head out of the sand. Arum doesn't want to make the fight and will come up with any excuse to avoid it.

I doubt if Cotto/Alvarez fight will happen at all, let alone on May 2.

Arum also said that Mayweather’s powerful adviser, Al Haymon, has been in talks with Moonves and that Arum also spoke with Plepler on Wednesday about the bout.
“While there’s life, there’s hope,” Arum said of making a deal for the fight to happen. “As far as the Pacquiao side is concerned, we want to make this thing happen. As far as the Mayweather side, we’re still talking.”
Lol that article was ken and arum running their mouths, arums been working tirelessly? FOH with that nonsense, pretty sure showtime offered the 40 mil with 35 percent same time arum was quoted as saying floyd is scared and reluctant, then espinozas tweet exposed him and all of a sudden, were talking.
All that article really said was Les Moonves was doing this eating with them, and telling Arum what Floyds position is, but "hopefully there will be a resolution", but yall working
