Bob Arum: I refuse to make a Mayweather/Pacquaio fight on May 2 because it would be disrespectful to the Mexican holiday (even though I have done it twice in the past for Pacquaio fights). Since Mayweather refuses to fight on any day except May 2, there will be no Mayweather/Pacquaio fight.

You just linked me to an article detailing how Arum is working his ass off to get the fight done- constantly meeting with Moonves (CEO of CBS) and Plepler (Chairman of HBO). Also, details how Ken Hershman (head of HBO sports) is waiting for someone from Floyd's side to call his office. Also repeats what everyone in the industry has been saying all along- all indications are that Floyd doesn't want the fight.
