To compare Floyd and Roy's situation and say that they were identical is hilarious! Floyd fans are reaching ....... AGAIN!
Why is Roy dissing Floyd?? he should feel his pain

They are not identical... The similarities are they are p4p the best of their era and people hopes somebody gives them a good Go or clear loss...people said Jones was ducking certain fighters and didn't fight nobody...y'all must've forgot
Proof is in the pudding both beat more champions, hall of famers, and contenders than their peers in their era

Sorry but we are not talking about P4P or anything else except the ducking. Roy didn't duck anyone for 5 years where he could have made $100+ million. Nor was it the same magnitude. They are not identical... i don't know man...i could have sworn i saw roy jones, stop virgil hill, as legit a lhvy champ that know of....even hearns couldn't stop that dude...in what 4 rounds?
Truth hurts. Roy can say what he wants, he beat Hopkins, toney and a hw, all better wins than Floyd and the guys on his résumé like Ortiz and Guerrero, although he didn't knock them all out(richard hall) he beat their ass instead ud after ud. He above anyone can criticize.
griffin, an actual good lhvy, got stopped in what 1,2 rounds, after giving roy fits in the initial fight...he was toast after that...
why these floyd boys think their dude is above criticism by cats that were long reigning p4p dudes themselves is crazy...Comment

Man, everyone laughing at Team Pac getting ready to run again really has your feelings hurt. You can call me whatever you want because I know I live a happy, wealthy and fulfilling life. A bunch of mad at the world hobbit keyboard warriors aren't going to wipe the grin off of my face or take any money out of my pocket.why dont you shut up and clean up some horse ****?
you're not hard.
you're not black.
you're not hood.
you're a fat white subruban yuppie guy who looks like a lumpier uglier version of patton oswalt that cleans horse stables and try to pass yourself off as some unbiased boxing guy so "in the know" and "hip" and "non conformist" because you like floyd.
and you got the nerve to call someone out for pretending????
GTFO.
See that's the difference between posters on here. No part of my self-worth is derived from the success or failures of any fighter. No part of how I perceive myself is drawn from being popular on a boxing forum. It is pretty obvious that we can't say the same for you.Comment

I don't wanna start anything racial, but the truth is...
It's something my History professor told us (He's black), about African Americans naturally hating themselves and eachother. You will see Floyd getting praise from every other race/nationality other than White/American and African American. In fact what I have learned in person, from college and work, is that the majority of Americans (Black or White) hate Floyd and think he's boring. While most of his actual fans are of other nationalities. In my native country, Dominican Republic, they love Floyd over there. Every Black co worker I have spoken to about Floyd, don't like him and feel Pacquiao is better. While Hispanics are more convinced of Floyd and say he is the best.
Again, I don't mean to turn this into a racial thread, i'm just going by my experience. There's literally no African American person I have spoken to that likes Floyd. I'm actually surprised there's some on this site. Floyd is even liked more in the UK than U.S. I suspect he gets a lot of PPV buys from Hispanics.
Oh and what a coincidence, my History prof, who's black, also doesn't like Floyd Mayweather. BTW, i'm not saying ALL white/black people hate Floyd, there are exceptions. But exceptions are just that.
You need to go back to college and demand a refund... They taught you some whack *****, because this post is wrong in many waysComment

Roy didn't become huge because boxing was still popular and there were mega stars everywhere..
Remember roy from 88-03 was in the shadow of
Tyson
Holyfield
Chavez
Oscar
Foreman
plus you also had star power with
Lennox
Rid****
Tito
Leonard comebacks
Floyd has zero competition but manny in terms of star power, so it's much easier to grab the attention...
Floyd wasn't a huge star when Oscar, shane, morales, barrera, prince, tito, Vargas, lennox, roy were headlining PPv cards int the later 90s early 00sComment
