it does a sport a disservice when you put guys like floyd on ppv.

everyone of his ppv fights lack action and people always go home disappointed.
Lol you're a **** hater for sure. Floyd vs Mosley was no clinch or "run" fest. Floyd walked him down and put a beat down on Mosley. Floyd vs Hatton was one of the best PPV fights I've ever seen. Floyd vs Cotto was a good scrap also. And the Maidana 1 fight had all sorts of fouls and illegal tactics used against Floyd with barely any clinching. Your bias must look like Bob Arum's sack laying over both your eyes.

PPV's are too pricey, the economy isn't doing very well, illegal streams are easy to find, the PPV undercards usually suck, the PPV main fights lately haven't been anything really desirable, and the damn fights seem to get later and later over time. Oscar use to only fight on PPV when he was fighting a name opponent. Oscar would've fought an Algieri type on regular HBO. Nowadays since Bob Arum's letting his inner *** out you get the ****tiest PPV's of all time... I mean Rios, Algieri, Shiming undercards, etc... lol

You need watch more PPV besides Floyds. That is a sad standard to go by.

$70 for a PPV event that fails to deliver excitement might be the problem. The judges giving out ****ty decisions and pissing off the fans is another problem.

It's mostly due to the proliferation of streaming services online. Many of them are even free. Let's face it, it's not surprising to see people look for cheaper, alternative options. (That's probably why some people don't believe all these exaggerated PPV numbers that are coming out.) The one million mark should have been an impossibility a long time ago.

                  Cost and product.
But FMJ / Pac will do 2 million buys, even at $100 a pop.
It would infuse the sport with a little badly needed credibility.

It's no Felix Trinidad vs Fernando Vargas, Oscar vs Vargas, Oscar vs Mosley, Mosley vs Vargas, or Mayorga vs all the others mentioned but it was a damn great PPV main fight that exceeded expectations and silenced a lot of haters. It was no Pacquiao vs Rios or Algieri fight that's for damn sure

Yeah, and I get the feeling that if the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight happens, the PPV is going to cost even more... I could've swore I saw an interview with Bob Arum somewhere where he says they could charge people $100 for the fight!!
