Not everyone should be on PPV:
Let’s forget about the 1980 and 1990s, and take into account 2000-2014. That's 45 PPV cards and 90 fighters who fought the main event. And of those 90 fighters, only Kevin McBride who fought Mike Tyson in his last fight was less accomplished than Algieri, and you have to go back to 1995 and inject Tyson opponent Peter McNeeley to find another less credentialed fighter than Chris who was part of the main event of a PPV card.

U get hyped when following the sport initially, then u realize that boxing is a joke after a while. Just follow the money and you ll know who will win the fight (get the decision at least ) . Almost 80 percent of fights are a showcase fight then once in a while u see an upset and they rob the non money fighter to keep the showcase going until this name fighter is matched up in a cashout fight. The last enterestimg fight i saw was lomachenko vs russell and not because i was hyped by their showcase fights but i was shocked that 2 potential money fighters in the future were pitted against. Now boxing has a low risk high reward formula where nobody fights. Im not paying for amir khan vs anybody on ppv. Thats what they are trying to shove down peoples throat. Rebuild his shattered shin against light punchers with names and fool the public he is better than ever to cash him out vs floyd before he gets knocked out and loses all value. Wake me up when there is an interesting fight. Btw pacquiao vs mayweather will be boring as ****. Quit overthinking that ****. Its a 12 round outpointing of paquiao by mayweather ina boring fight. They are old they not fighting anybody with a pulse until they lose appeal and will save that last fight to cash out. Its about how a fighter makes the most money ina career its not about proving to be the best anymore. I like klitschko kovalev and golovkin they fight everybody or willing to fight everybody in their own weight class.

Floyd has always had solid numbers he's the no.1 attraction in boxing. Pacs numbers have declined and will continue too. pac can't get solid numbers in the USA or even asia.

They've declined because there are too many of them. And most don't even belong on ppv. There was not one American ppv this year that probably should have been a ppv. Not 1.
