If you don't understand the BUSINESS SIDE OF THINGS...STICK TO JUST TALKING BOXING!

Showtime is Outselling HBO in PPV Buys, something they haven't done since...MIKE TYSON? Also I ask this question again...What Was Showtime Boxing Before They Got Mayweather And Golden Boy Promotions Fighters To Fight On It Exclusively? It was just a GATEWAY TO HBO FOR MOST FIGHTERS!

Showtime is getting what they paid for which was to COMPETE WITH HBO BOXING, despite have far less subscribers they're basically matching HBO in Viewership for Boxing Events, now Imagine if they had the SAME AMOUNT OF SUBSCRIBERS, they likely would be flat out BEATING HBO BOXING IN VIEWS

So technically, Showtime is getting what they wanted when they signed Mayweather and that was to help them COMPETE WITH HBO and MISSION IS ACCOMPLISHED because they beating HBO in PPV Buys mostly because of Mayweather.

Just to ruin this notion that "SHOWTIME IS LOSING MONEY ON MAYWEATHER AND THEY'RE IN TROUBLE" LMFAO...Didn't Les Moonves (Head Guy At Showtime) just get a 2 year Extension?...Which is a CLEAR ***IN INDICATION that CBS is very happy with the Direction Showtime is going, If they was "LOSING SO MUCH MONEY ON MAYWEATHER" I serious doubt they would've extend Les Moonves Contract

Some Of You discussing boxing like WOMEN...ALL EMOTIONS/FEELINGS AND ZERO LOGIC!

By the way, did anyone review the latest CBS filing? Before they went off on a pre-release rumor? Might want to shut this thread down.

What is false? The CBS quarterly financial report? No, one is able to consult it on the Web -- CBS is a listed company, therefore it's financial reports go public.

I know. I posted the link to their latest Q. Now please show me where you see that loss. Because that Q says otherwise.

CBS is a multi billion company and them being profitable overall does not change the fact that they lost money on the Floyd Mayweather Deal.

Whether CBS lost money (doubtful) or not really is inconsequential since they're still doing Mayweather PPV fights and paying Floyd his money. I've yet to see any evidence that Showtime isn't pleased to have Floyd on their network but I've seen evidence that HBO was not pleased he left.
