Floyd's economic impact on the city is huge. that is why he gets the prime dates.
I live in Vegas, and no it doesn't revolve around Floyd. Any 3 day weekend absolutely crushes a Floyd fight in terms of city revenue. And really, it's more the fact that Floyd fights on a holiday in the highest populated Mexican region in the country. Take away Floyd and all those people will still come to Vegas on vacation. It'll just be someone else fighting instead of Floyd.

Vegas does not need Floyd, he only fights twice a year and while it does bring numbers up it's nothing that would fail if Floyd retired or really would even be missed. In fact, Manny's fights while cheaper in gate and revenue bring in more money (or used to) because of the whales that come in from Asia and Manny brings (brought) the celebrities in full force as well as them. And let's be honest, the celebrities don't end up paying for anything anyway.

Dude, what are u talking about? Floyd fight weekends have been the biggest weekends in vegas for quite some time. The revenue raised from those weekends are definitely among the biggest in the year. That's a fact. There's no need to lie to try to prove worthless points

I am not in a position to post you are wrong but everything I have read indicates the biggest Vegas weekends during the year are the Floyd fights. Everything costs more these weekends so more revenue is raised.

Please show me these numbers lmao. And I'll say it again... it's a Mexican holiday that is celebrated by everyone, even Americans in the region. They don't go to Vegas because of Floyd, they go there to party and Floyd just happens to be fighting.

You're in here telling me I'm wrong when I live here saying I have no facts. Your facts are... "I'm right your wrong, blah blah blah." What are you 5 years old? Please show me these numbers that all 18k people bring to Vegas? That's all that stadium seats, you know that right? 18k people is nothing compared to CES are you ****ing serious right now? A Floyd fight brings in the revenue of SEMA? You clowns should just shut up right now lmao. Floyd fights twice a year and huge things like CES and SEMA, week long events with hundreds of thousands of attendee's and Floyd is worth more lmao, you guys are funny.

Revenue is always changing in Vegas. If you come here on Tuesday your hotel is cheaper than Friday. If it's a holiday weekend the costs are higher... You think Floyd is brings more people to Vegas than New Years or that the cost of hotels and food is higher because Floyd is fighting? Use some common sense, look at a picture of the strip on New Years it's a human sardine can, it's ****ing awful. Floyd can't even compare to that, and also once again... it's Cinco De Mayo, Floyd can leave and the prices will stay the same.

Dude, stop it. There's a reason hotel prices go up, hundreds of stars come into town, bookies generate more cash, and casinos huge site fees. Every normal person knows that's what I'm saying is the truth. U want to hate and lie. Go ahead. It's kinda pathetic. But I'm not gonna waste my time arguing with a person who should know better.

Wow you have to be even more of a ****** then I thought if you believe that. You think arum didn't know delahoya would move the cotto fight before this? The only reason they even want to make it for may 2nd is to put pressure on floyd because he won't be able to fight a bum and go up against cotto with his guarantee. You know what never mind you are a delusional knob.

Hundreds of stars? They only show about 10 on TV and guess what... They all get everything for free so how does that help the economy? But hey, you think what you don't understand is a lie. It isn't a lie it's called ignorant and that's what you are. You can feel I should know better and it's not that I know better I just know more. I don't need someone who doesn't live in town to think they actually know better especially when they have no clue who I know that works at a casino. It's pretty easy to find out who tips well and who doesn't. Who gives out/gets comps and who doesn't.

This is where you'll say I'm full of **** but again no. You are ignorant you just don't know because you don't live here. I know people who work at Treasure Island, The Hard Rock, MGM and various pools and clubs around town. They know their prices, they know what brings in money because it directly affects their tips and how much they make. When Floyd fights it's a good night I'm not saying that. When CES, New Years, SEMA, Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, a MASSIVE amount of week long conventions aren't good nights. They're great weeks/weekends, because hundreds of celebrities who get **** for free and 10k paying customers cannot compare to 100k+ people that those weekends and shows bring in. Now, don't post again for whatever reason you want, using your argument, I'm right. You're wrong.
