How genuis to force the May Pac fight by saying Canelo is going to take the dates? No way Floyd would let that happen. I think its forced him to step up to the plate.

Well the Floyd PPV doesn't affect the Mexican holiday lol... The holiday certainly helps Floyd's PPV numbers, but he could fight Manny on August 20th at 3:30 in the morning and the numbers would be no different than on Cinco de Mayo. While any fight is certainly going to be helped by what day it's held, if it's a big fight it's relatively minor.

what that poster-and I use the term poster very loosely-doesn't understand is Vegas biggest weekends are Floyd fights. Not just the MGM, but the city. It doesn't make sense that the businesses in Las Vegas would tell bob, hbo and GBP-yeah give us Canelo/Cotto instead of a Floyd fight.

Floyd's economic impact on the city is huge. that is why he gets the prime dates.

it's all on Arum. don't want to hear this excuse again.
Oscar's dropped Mayweather init....trouble is, Mayweather wants everything his way. No sane human being would accept those demands.

the other week, you said mexican holiday dont help Floyd's PPV, so what made you change your mind? "peeleft:

I do believe Mexican holiday helps any boxing fights especially Mexican fighters but the hypocrisy of this poster is incomparable!

You sure that was me? Please show me.

The Floyd/Manny fight will make money any day but The revenues, not only for the fight but for the city of Las Vegas and all the businesses connected to the fight/boxing industry will be maximized on this weekend.

So its in everyone's best interest to have the fight this weekend.
