What's that say there? Who also brings in big fish from Asia and in much higher droves than Floyd? This little Asian guy named Manny Pacquaio and where I stated earlier that his fights are better for the economy because of that. Didn't I say these WEEK LONG events bring in more money than a one night fight? I did.

So, you're best example of Floyd helping the economy is Chinese labor day, Cinco de Mayo and a Floyd fight. Keep posting owning you never gets old.
Eh urea and Dunn really worship Floyd like he is some super important powerful person. They see him as a black man with power which is false, he only has power in certain circumstances, let's see if he loses and retires how his name carries weight. Also Floyd is no more famous than pacquiao. Before Floyd fought oscar, pack an was a star in boxing headlong ppm with Floyd as his biggest fan, everyone who knows Floyd know pacman. So there name is about equal. The difference is there are some Asians who only know pacman but do t know Floyd, but in America everyone who knows Floyd knows who PAC is.

Also Floyd ticket prices cost an arm and a leg, so most people who are not millionaires don't have any left to gamble, while PAC tickets are cheaper and those in attendance have some money to play.

Floyd's not a good business man, he is only good at being greedy. Businessman can run and sustain a business that helps generate longevity, his brand is nothing, because he has no endorsement deals, if his name carried weight he would be able to make millions already outside of boxing on clothing, shoes etc.

Floyd generates money for MGM grand, they make it seem like Floyd is bringing in so much more money that he can ease the cities financial woes, not true. Mgm grand needs Floyd the city doesn't, some at MGM is the one who probably knows someone and convinced the city not to put Floyd to prison. The city can give two shts about him.

canelo fought nonames, maravilla is a well recognized name among latinos, just cuz cotto failed on his ppv vs maravilla doeasnt mean maravilla is a noname...
and by the way on that date canelo fought on sho for free putting good numbers
and chavez-maravilla did less than expected, and lets not forget he sold out the mmg while the other fight took place within a few blocks, all that when he was only 21... like it or not get it in your head canelo is fighting on that date unless floyd and manny man up...

Instead of moving Canelo off the date of the supposed Pac/Floyd fight why not put him on the undercard vs Cotto. That would give the fans what they want. It would be a boxing supercard. But of course in the world of boxing if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.

Cotto sold more than Canelo in terms of PPV buys... how would that make it a failure? I know Canelo fought on Showtime for free, the numbers for Chavez/Martinez were actually more than anticipated it did 400k. They weren't expecting that much and it was the debut on PPV for both guys. Canelo didn't reach that when he had just been on PPV with 2.2 million buys and being on Floyds undercard his entire career.

But hey, keep thinking Canelo is some savior or in some special leverage position. He can fight in May and forgot fighting Cotto or that PPV money though, but hey at least he's fighting in the US on a Mexican holiday right?
