Thurman gives anyone at welter a tough time. Just waiting to see if he can fight chino, guerrero, or brook. Mayweather, pacman, marquez, khan and bradley are not going to happen.

Thurman is fuc*d! I like the kid, but he just gave everbody an excuse to avoid him, and it is a valid excuse. He's is really stuck at the high risk/low reward fight. I think Thurman needs Shawn Porter or Maidana ASAP. One long shot, I would love to see Thurman vs. Provodnikov @ 147.

Thurman gave it the big talk and then bottled it when he was given the spotlight. He can only have himself to blame really.

Brook has a mandatory and then they'll push for the Khan fight. If not Khan, they'll go for Marquez.

Thurman is pretty far down the pecking order especially after Saturday

Crazy how quickly hype can change. Thurman just put a clinic on and now he's just crap

Same with Porter. Before he fought Brook he was the second coming of Mike Tyson. Now he's a one dimensional fighter.

Love how Brook who basically has no fan base anywhere out of his home country is all of a sudden some world beater who is as popular as Pac if you believe his promoter and fan. Lmao the only big fight for Brook is Khan because Khan is a big name (which got forced upon us) not because Brook is a big name. Brook's resume is probably worst then Thurman's, can somebody tell me why Brook got the shot against Porter? Its because Brook is not perceived as the threat that Thurman is. Brook and Thurman have arguably the same fame and Thurman is way more popular in America. When someone like Mayweather, Pac, Cotto says there is no money in an opponent, that is an argument that can be defended, but when someone like Brook says it, it can not be defended, because Brook himself doesnt bring much money or a major fan base himself, which is why they are chasing Khan so hard.

Who do you think will be next? Errol Spence? He does look a good prospect mind from what I've seen not sold on that chin though

People are turning on Thurman just as bad for winning every single round of a fight as they did when they turned on Porter for getting handled by Brook.

This is absurd. They'll just end up hating Thurman even more when he blasts their favorite fighter.

He's definitely not crap, he's just not worth the risk yet. If he does his thing against a Porter or Maidana, he'll get all his shine back immediately. At this point, there are too many "boos", those that don't respect what he just accomplished.
