I am not very happy with his performance, but Thurman is and always has been a counter puncher. He ****s when he has to, but he has only been a pressure fighter after hurting his opponents. I think Thurman made a rookie mistake Saturday night, he clearly had Bundu hurt in the first round and may have been able to finish him, but I believe he pulled back to get some work in having been out 8 months. Then found out through the course of the fight that Bundu is fainting very awkward and is hard to hit and he couldnt put him away like he thought he would be able to.

Since when does domination mean "exciting fight?"your definition is hilarious. and youre the type to love to watch paint dry too! I like the kid, but that was one of the most boring fights ive seen. sell out crowd before the fight started were hyped on 1time, as am I. I even met some peeps from florida who flew out to watch the kid. byt the 3rd round, it was constant boos throughout the arena. even the old folks from florida were a bit disappointed. by the end of the fight, the whole crowd showered the fight with boos. you say it was a dominating performance, damn near everyone that night in the mgm disagree.
co-sign to thee mu***in fullest
Most dominations are boring to watch. Knowing one guy can't win tends to make a fight boring.Comment

Word. That's real talk ^
Furthermore, if he had problems with Bundu's awkwardness--imagine Chino coming at him. I've always seen Thurman as a hype job. Last fight he exhibited that he isn't ready for elite fighters (since he couldn't crack Bundu). Thurman gets the Chino new kid in school rough housing if they fought. Another hype shown the truthComment

This guys a trip, first he says that he was going to knock out his man, and it didn't happen as plan, let me quote Thurman " can't knock everybody out" remarks after the fight. Now hes saying he will go trough Maidana which is a load of crap, I see Maidana hurting and putting Thurman to sleep.Comment

Thurman isn't a huge name now, let alone 2 years ago. And besides, this is the boxing BUSINESS. Look what Maidana got vs Broner. 2 Floydie fights. And he deserved it after all the wars he's been through. Isn't that the goal? Make some serious moolah and get out? Thurman's people though will keep riding that issue til the cows come home. At some point (now?) it gets old. Besides, just because Thurman says he walks thru Marcos doesn't mean that's happening. Soto-Karass nearly dropped him, and after this last 'performance' I'd say the guy's looking even more beatable.Comment
