The kid back peddled, circled and damn near ran away all night. Everyone I was around was expecting fireworks from him but were really disappointed in his fight.
Bundu may have been coming forward, he wasn't throwing any punches though. Thurman threw twice as many and landed 3 times as many in pretty much every round.

Casual fans only follow "face first" fighters.. cause they tend to think that's the most excitement.. real boxing fans admire a boxing clinic.. vs good opposition... no need to "outbox" someone way below your talent level.. look at kahn.. he did way better than I thought.. THAT'S A BOXING CLINIC..
Only reason it looked lkie it was safety first is because Thurman was watching out for the headbutt.

Don't know why people assume that moving forward, catch a running target and throw punches at the same time is easy. Seems the only fighters they give credit to are the ones who are running. It's so idiotic.

In general, most fighters would want to play the countering role. That's even more true in real life. In street fights, you don't just foolishly go on a rampage and punch everyone in the face. You wait and counter. And that's not even entertainment where you get paid for it.
