read my posts. i said i don't give a shit what date both fights are scheduled. i want both fights made. Canelo-Cotto can fight on Leif Ericson day for all i care.

i'm cheering for the promoters? where the fuck did you get that from? i'm saying that canelo-cotto would probably benefit more in terms of ppv sales boost than floyd-pac because of the mexican holiday. floyd-pac breaks record any day of the year. naturally, that's what hbo/arum/showtime wants. i'm just saying what i think they'll try to do.

In what world does anyone expect Mayweather, one of the most self-absorbed, materialistic people on the planet to give up his date to help out with something that benefits him in no way. I get we all hate Floyd and he is expected to make all these concessions other fighters would be cheered for rejecting, but it's not like they're offering him $10 million for the date.

It is laughable to expect the biggest draw, biggest revenue generator in the sport to move off of the biggest day of the year. You're expecting Floyd to essentially take money out of his own pocket and put it in Oscar and Arum's out of the kindness of his heart? Two guys who have been trashing him every chance they get in the media the last few months. Seems like every year Arum has a new reason why Floyd shouldn't fight on Cinco De Mayo weekend.
