Brook earned more of a shot by beating Porter than Khan has by beating Alexander.

Only reason Khan is even in the running is because he's making himself loud and obnoxious about it.

1 win over a brawler in Porter who's gets you Floyd now ?

Brook was impressive on that win but that's all he's done and Porters only claim to fame is beating Alexander who apparently is a one dimensional hack.

Khan has 10 wins better than Brooks second best win included the guy that just fought Floyd twice and beat him in many peoples eyes.

Bradley is coming off a loss and a draw so that leaves Garcia who hasn't fought at 147.

      It's Pac or Khan next.

I dont think khan is better than pacquiao but you make a good point: no one at 147 outboxes devon so thorougly, pac can hurt him and mayweather can out pot shot him but no one shuts him out like that.

        Its what Garcia did
Andrea Kotelnik outboxed Alexander just as easily.

Khan also has recent KO losses to subpar opposition and a reputation of having a weak chin.

Brook on the other hand is undefeated and recently beat a young prime opponent.

You're trying to hard to convince yourself that Khan deserves a shot more than Kell Brook does. Fact is, they're both not on Floyd's level and in no way shape or form is there a dichotomy of Pac or Khan.

Well Kotenik won but it wasn't a shut-out like last night and we saw how Khan dealt with Kotelnik.

Outside of Pacquiao, and taking into account the marketing requirements of Sho, Khan is best placed to land the Mayweather fight.

It was a pretty one sided fight I thought.

              I do agree though.

Stylistically I think Khan is the most dangerous fight got Mayweather.

Khan has 1 legit loss in 7 years and that was 2 1/2 years ago to an undefeated unified champions and no1 fighter in his division.

Based on Floyds previous opponents Khans done more than enough to earn a shot at Floyd and way more than Brook.

                  correct.

obviously pacquiao is THE fight at 147 if it can be made.

others more deserving of a shot against floyd imo are bradley (former title holder with wins over pac and jmm), garcia (undefeated unified 140 with KO win over Khan) and brook (current ibf title holder).

some truth here, although tbh khans win over alexander has helped his position a lot! but no doubt no he will piss everyone off with his big mouth again!!

6 years since Prescott, 2 years since Garcia, rocked by Maidana.

Beating journeymen Diaz, Collazo and Alexander in 36 rounds gives you a shot at Mayweather now?

Are you really going to argue that Khan could outbox Floyd over 12 rounds to win a UD based on those performances?
