Canelo needs to fight in Mexico on Mexican television for Mexican peso's if he's so worried about Mexico! I'm tired of these ****s thinking they are gonna come to America and keep ****ing everything up here and then saying we American's are the ones being disrespectful. I don't go to your ****ing country and refuse to learn your language. I don't go to your country and EXPECT a handout from your hard working citizens. I can't stand that in my country founded and fought for by English settlers and the French that I have a Spanish option for channels. My Declaration of Independence was signed on hemp and written in English! All the founding fathers would have had war with all these ****s nowadays with all this bull****!

So Arum isn't willing to have the fight on May 2nd?

      Why?

Having it on that date will maximise the revenue.
I just read this today. Are you kidding me? So Arum is basically saying no Mayweather-Pacquiao fight on May 2?

Lol and the U.S. has a new provision in the NDAA for Native Americans. The U.S. is about to take some of those reservation lands and sell them to foreign mining companies

He dealt with nothing. If anything, they sounded too smart for him. All I saw was a little, racist ******. He kept saying "black American" against a Filipino. Couldn't he just say an American against a Filipino? Would it make it any better for sales if Floyd was white fighting on a Mexican holiday?

Why are all other ethnic groups labeled with a hyphen (African-American, Mexican-American, etc.) but whites are the only group called American without a hyphen? ****cing sucks. All are immigrants. Whites, historically and some say even now, are the scums in the Americas, with bloody hands.

I bet Cotto won't like that Arum is siding with a fighter that he doesn't even promote. Hopefully, Cotto sticks to his guns and insist on fighting in June. **** that entitled brat, Canelo!

If this fight is genuinely offered and Arum rejects it because of the date, it's just inexcusable.

Ray, it's not even funny, man. This dude just doesn't want the fight. Like man, this is just crazy. Bob Arum is holding back one of the biggest fights ever all because of his pride and ego. I mean, it's sickening. I really, really hope Pacquiao forces Arum to make the fight. Or make him step aside. What an unbelievable disgrace if the fight is killed because of one man. Why did Manny re-sign? I just don't get it.

I had to laugh because I knew they do not want this fight. I said it many times but I got convince when I saw Arum saying " let make this fight, no more excuses, no more egos" etc. this was after the Pac-Algieri fight, now he pull this card out? I really can't stop laughing. Why would he care that a fighter (Canelo) that does not belong to him would be denied an opportunity to fight on that date? He (Arum) would have the two biggest names, two biggest sellers and two biggest network on his side wanting to make the fight, now tell me why would he care what Mexicans or Canelo think about that day, has he really cared before when he puts his fighters on that date? I hope the American media actually have the balls to now call him out.

As a fan, it's disheartening. But ultimately, it's up to Manny. He just said it's not about the money and that it's about legacy. I doubt he gives a **** about date either. He needs to force Arum to make this fight happen.
