Pac is not smart, intelligent non educated enough to deal with Arum, this is a man that re-sign a contract with Arum when he was on the verge of becoming a free agent, this fight would never happen. I accepted that back in January 2010.

I wish people would stop acting like Cotto-Canelo is going to be some huge PPV bonanza. If Canelo wanted that date so bad, he should have beat Mayweather to claim the superstar status he THINKS he has. The dude is so freaking average.

Yea I accepted it then too. I guess time makes you forget. Can you believe this fight could've happened when it was at its peak for an even split? Why would you re-sign with a guy you know has no intentions of making the fight you claim you want? When you could have negotiated more money for yourself as a free agent? Arum has to have dirt on him. Being uneducated is no excuse for having no sense.

i suspect that is the case. i assume arum handles pacquiao's taxes and finances to some extent and is perhaps not entirely above board

Well unless Arum is holding Pac hostage with some sort of blackmail or whatever I don't know how a congress man would re-sign when he can make a fight easily with Arum and triple his income. He either is really dumb, being blackmailed or plain ******. Either way we are not getting this fight with Arum around, I saw that with Cotto when he said Arum wouldn't make him fight Mayweather.

Right, because Floyd has never fought on Mexican holiday weekend before....give it a rest.

Floyd's a coward though, he'll never fight Manny, not even on the Mexican holiday he's held his PPV's on for the past few years.

Its clear you want the fight as much Arum does. Pathetic.

Prince is really the court jester. But I'm glad he posted this article. Hopefully Manny has read it as well.
