He's not - but looking back at one of his Tweets he recalled a moment when this dude said "don't ever hurt yourself champ" out of nowhere. I think he knows that was a sign to some degree. He probably missed opportunities to intervene and didn't know. A lot of us would have called him weak. Most homies would have listened and wisened up...but not all. It's nobodies fault. There just isn't a lot of awareness on the issue- most of you realize it's preventable - otherwise you wouldn't be arguing that he should have used different words and not called him weak.

The point of my posts is not defend anyone on this.. hopefully just explain that sometimes it can be prevented if spotted....if ur homie ever comes up to you and says some **** like "don't ever hurt yourself" out of completely nowhere, and you know he's depressed, or has had mental illness, has access to guns or whatever...do the hard thing, don't be "a coward",dont be weak.. ask questions...try to get him//her help. It's cliche - but a lot easier to do than go through pain, heartache, and all this finger pointing bull**** that goes on after bad events like this

Yeah, does anyone know what 50 cent was trying to intimate here? Did Floyd tell 50 cent he's become suicidal or something after the incident? Wouldn't be surprised if Floyd gets PTSD from this, as many people would in the same circumstances.

Regardless of what Mayweather did after the fact, it can still be argued that he was still the link in the chain of events somewhat, at least from that report.
That's when someone has caused injury through a criminal act or negligence you idiot. And before you try an argue Mayweather's actions were negligence, foreseeability, proximity, unreasonableness and a duty of care are some of the requirements.

Don't try and use the law as an excuse when you're so off base.

Again, I'm not trying to compound criminal charges against Mayweather. I'm just considering aloud what fault should be attributed to Mayweather in all this. The fact that a lot of people in here freak out over that says a lot.

this all a bunch of baloney as far as i'm concerned. it all sounds fishy and phoney. like floyd's groupies coming to the rescue and making up lies about what went down.

there is more to this than what's being presented as "fact". people need to wake up.

Not trying to blame Floyd but I think Floyd calling his friend weak was the straw that push the man over the edge. I think Floyd used his doghouse attitude/mentality on his friend to get him to just leave his wife but his friend reacted in a way Floyd would have never expected.

That's the thing. You're saying you want to think of in terms of being a lawyer, then proceed to.....not do that, at all.

Floyd isn't to blame. Not a red cent. You can't put another man's actions on Mayweather because you think he used a poor choice of words.

If Floyd were egging him on

                "Go shoot the whore"

"If it were me I'd kill her"

                etc. you'd have a case.

                But he said

                "don't be weak"

And "begged him not to do it".

Any argument trying to accuse Floyd of something criminal, based on what we know, is laughable at best.

Floyd's haters have been the ones making up lies. You obviously haven't been paying attention.

If I thought Mayweather were guilty of something, I'd blame him. In this case, he's simply not. It's ignorant to suggest that he is.
