  • Man with some of the comments and lawyers in this forum, I would ****ing hate for my friend to call me up in that mental state. Before reading this thread, I probably would have told him the same thing. Stop being weak and leave her. After reading this thread, apparently I encouraged a friend to kill his girl before he kills himself and I deserve to rot in jail. Or maybe these are just treatment that Floyd gets.

From the mindset of a normal person, I don't think another normal person would think I'm a piece of ****, lowlife scumbag who deserves to rot in hell for telling my friend to not be weak. I don't know. I'm weird like that. But the sad thing is, it really doesn't surprise me that Floyd gets this treatment. If someone jumped off a bridge and Floyd was there, I'm guessing Floyd should have ran faster to stop him, right? After all, he's one of the best athletes in the world and (oh let me guess...) he does a great job running from Pacquiao. Am I right? Naw. I'm a "Flowmo."

they defended him when he beat up shane the security guard
they defended him when he ordered ocie harris to attempt to murder that kid for playfully talking trash.
they defended him when he was sexually harassing another boxer's wife on television

THEY WILL DEFEND FLOYD IF FLOYD SHOT PRESIDENT ***** TO DEATH!!!!!

i could already see the flowmoes trying to spin that:

"well president ***** said my premiums wouldnt go up. he lied"
The best one is " there's is no video tape" so Floyd is innocent, yet pacman is clearly on steroids and guilty, lol flow I deluded bias logic.

      • Just hours after witnessing a murder/suicide via FaceTime, Floyd Mayweather decided to get out of his house to sit courtside at the L.A. Clippers basketball game Monday night.

Floyd actually appeared to be in a pretty decent mood considering the circumstances ... shaking hands and talking with Clippers stars Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford before they took on the Phoenix Suns at Staples Center.

As TMZ first reported, Floyd was on the phone Monday morning with rapper Earl Hayes when he killed his wife, VH1 star Stephanie Moseley, and then himself.

Sources close to Mayweather tell us Floyd was having a hard time dealing with the situation. Clearly, he felt like going to the game would help him cope.

Its called a crime of passion. Its a insanity plea, that the person was not in control of themselves, therefore not responsible, you can get off completely free. For instance if you plan on killing your wife and do it, that is premeditated murder, but if you catch her sleeping with your best friend and lose, and kill them both, that is a crime of passion and is valid defense.

If you really love her, and she does this, well you might feel like you have no choice. If she didn't want to suffer the consequences she shouldn't have done that to him. We all understand how he felt.
Crime of passion and insanity defenses are separate and distinct.

Crime of passion is only a partial defense (i.e. reduction from 1st degree murder to 2nd degree or 2nd degree murder reduced to manslaughter).

Insanity is a complete defense and much more difficult to prove than crime of passion.

Ok, I'm no lawyer - but wouldn't that sort of defense fall apart rather quickly due to the fact his gripe stemmed from an incident that he had known about for over two years? He presumably had forgiven her as far as she knew.
It's not like he walked in on some new dude who was ploughing her.

I'm not sure why there would even be an attempt to carve out space to justify or defend what he did. The only position that is worth taking- the one that keeps the victim in mind, is to do what you can to prevent the next one. this has happened in boxing too so I feel like we should know first hand
