He is waiting for the weekend fight to see if Khan can sc**** through and a 'fight' between them can finally be pushed to the poor public, I hope NOT as Khan shouldn't even be ringside for fights and would be a very poor choice but Floyd is and has been taking the piss for some time now.

They only way Cotto doesn't fight Canelo and doesn't work with Top Rank is if he uses his leverage for a record payday , $20 million plus, and forces the fight at the full 160 limit.
Remember he turned down bigger money this year for a Canelo fight so that he could take a middle weight title from a 40 year old man coming off 2 knee surgeries and a year layoff.
Cotto is aware that another loss damages his legacy and probably forces him to retire soon, he thinks with Roach he can beat Canelo, I don't think Cotto thinks he can beat Floyd.

If Khan wins this saturday, I think Mayweather should consider moving the date for his next fight from May 2nd to May 9, out of respect for Canelo's willingness to fight in cinco de mayo.

Floyds PPV events have been under whelming. I know he's doing 700k to 800k but he's also making like 40 million a fight. Showtime is not making ****. So if anyone thinks they will let him go head to head with cotto canelo on cinco de mayo, they're crazy!!! They're already losing money with no competition.
