No, mainstream white American casual fans drive ppv sales. That's most likely why both cotto/Sergio and canelo's ppvs both didn't sell as expected. Floyd is the most popular fighter among the ppv buying crowd-even now with sales for all boxing ppv's dwindling.

While its fair to say cotto/canelo would sell more among hardcore fans, that's not the case with casual fans who know Floyd far more than those guys.

It would be bad for both networks to have a fight on the same day as both would lose money. If Floyd fights manny, HBO would surely move canelo/cotto off the date if the fight gets made.

There is a time limit to promote a fight. If floyd doesn't stop piddling around arum has to go to the next option and start promoting the next fight. Same story every year with floyd. I think floyd is just waiting for pac to get tired of waiting and for pac to sign with his next opponent so he (floyd) can claim he was not the one ducking.

the whole world is begging for this fight. Pac says the fans deserve this fight. Must be a shame these days to be a Mayweather fan when the whole world can see your boy ducking. This fight is not about high rollers it's about millions of everyday people anticipating a big fight.
