Bruce Lee is not much bigger than Pacquiao...first of all, and slightly smaller in frame.

Depending on how we are going present their fights:

    • Street fight?
    • boxing?

I still think Bruce Lee wins. And I am huge Pacquiao fan.

Not to mention Boxing is among the most effective striking martial arts and Bruce wasn't very proficient at it.

And before someone says "But he was the Father of MMA and MMA could beat Boxing" Well, sure, he was a big influence on MMA and part of his philosophy was to use more than one style and "Take what is useful and discard the rest" but he wasn't an MMA fighter, he wasn't a high level Wrestler, BJJ practitioner etc, so most of what makes MMA such an effective form of fighting he didn't have at his disposal.

A fight between him and Pac would be stand-up and Pac has the advantage there.
he had no influence in mma. NONE.

only influence he had in ufc waa those dorky kung fu guys who got their asses kicked in early ufc. mma predates ufc.

Then you sir had no idea of his contributions and influence in MMA. I took his art Jeet Kune Do, the art of intercepting the fist and he was the first one in the Western World to have cross-training used now in UFC.

Specifically, he researched various martial arts and studied efficient spacing, movements, economy of movements and tested various martial arts' main weapons and techniques to incorporate in his Jeet Kune Do.

He looked at ENTRY POINTS, how to fight a boxer, wrestler and utilized the 3 ranges, mainly the Kicking range, Boxing Range and the Grappling Range. Thus he experimented with various sweeps also, throws, hand-trappings, hand-immobilizations and then some.

He experimented with various training methods still utilized now. Muscle-memory conditioning, reflex-technology conditioning and explosive movements from various stimuli from sound, sight and sensitivity drills.

i know wtf i'm talking about do you?

they were doing mma in brazil before bruce lee was born.

the jap who thought the gracies judo, was having fights with wrestlers and other martial arts as exhibition.

you don't think those boxers, wrestlers, capoeiera fighting bjj guys started adding other styles stuff?

these guys were challenging and fighting each other. that's not crosstraining.

but actor bruce not fighting, making up/copying **** and quoting common chinese phrases is a creator of mma?

              you're a moron.

some of bruce lee's students know more and more influential than bruce. they just use bruce name for marketing.

dan inosanto has forgotten more than bruce lee ever knew.

how much of bruce lee's crap do you think inosanto even teaches now?

inosanto trained/studied wrestling, jiu-jitsu, muay thai, escrima, silat, etc.

some very effective real martial arts. not just some crap lee made up/copied.

boxers and wrestlers were fighting each other in america/europe late 1800's.

jap judo guys were going to us/eur military academies demonstrading judo to western wrestlers.

gracies in brazil were fighting boxers, wrestlers, capoeiera guys in matches 1920's-1930's.

russians mixed jap judo, western wrestling, asian wrestling to create sambo 1930's.

but a 60's B movie actor influenced mma and mixing styles?

                MORON.

i'll give you guys a little history lesson since you bruce lee fans don't know anything.

ever watch ufc and hear them refer to a KIMURA?

it's an armlock submission. do you know why it's called a kimura?

                  it's a brazilian jiu-jitsu term with a japanese name.

in 1940's helio gracie using bjj fought a jap judo champ in a mma fight. the judo guy broke his arm with a judo hold.

the brazilians adopted it, added it to bjj and named it after yhe judo guy, KIMURA.

american wrestlers called it CHICKEN WING. judo guys call it something else of course.

that's mixed martial arts. that's crosstraining styles.

not learning wing chun PARTIALLY and making up your own name for it.
