MMA and karate jiu jitsu are all superior to boxing in a street fight even head to head in a actual professional match.

Simply boxers are limited to using their fists while a karate master can utilize all parts of his body as a lethal weapon.

Boxing as much as I like it is inferior to MMA. Bruce lee would easily have ko'ed robinson., pac, Floyd, etc.

Also muay Thai is farrrrrrr superior to boxing.

you know most karate guys have kicked someone or been kicked about the same amount as a boxer?

a lot of karate guys don't spar. ask full contact karate guys. that's why even they look down on most other karate guys.

but this is not kung fu/karate vs. boxing.

this is an actor who practices (NOT FIGHT) an art he made up vs. a seasoned HOFer boxer.

There are many martial artists, that doesn't mean they can fight unless they have legit experience in the field of combative sports against other legit combatants.

You do realize many of Bruce Lee movies are choreographed right? most of those martial arts movies are, thats why they look so cool and awesome, but a real fight is not pretty at all.

Like I said I bet you thought Keanu can fight like that in real life like Matrix style lol

I also did some TKD when I was younger, it's surprising demanding at the higher levels, you have to be very athletic, agile, quick, and strong with no stamina issues. The problem with TKD though (IMO) is that it's focused WAYYY too much on kicks, many TKD fighters don't even use their hands to BLOCK. It definitely is NOT a good style to take into the octagon, too unbalanced, but there is much you can learn from it and incorporate into your own style.

I remember this dude in my class he was a karate guy and won a lot of katas and he got challenged, this dude looked like out of a movie he was moving so pretty doing his choreographed kata but when it came to a real fight all that pretty crap went out the window and he couldn't throw a punch to save his life and got knocked out by a wrestler.

Bruce is a martial artist and one bad ass on screen with a great philosophy but he is not a real fighter dude just accept it.

Sparring, kata, and training and movies is much different than when you fight.

Just stop dude. Being in an actual fight brings in so many intangibles that actor martial artists have never experienced. Look ad Brock Lesnar a bad ass wrestler with NCAA credits but the moment he gets hit in the face and cant bully you he rolls in a ball and runs away.

Because the guy talking BS so why should Bruce lee respond? WJM was butthurt that Lee only had 5 years formal training in WIng Chun could beat him who had many more years experience and Bruce boasting he beat WJM is bad for business you see, with WJM losing students and all that jazz you see etc. When the punk extra on ETD set challenged Lee, Lee didn't respond then as well, until he could no longer ignore the taunts? Does that mean Lee didn't accept the extras challenge because Lee couldn't beat the triad extra? No, it was because he knew he was far superior and hed hurt the triad.

Bruce had a bad habit of stealing peoples students, when they saw how great Lee was. Ed Parkers students left Ed Parker once they saw Bruce lee do his thing and so WJM tried save face. Although there is no evidence of WJM challenging Bruce lee in no newspaper.....libraries cant even find that supposed challenge. So you really believe bruce read about a so called rematch challenge while having breakfast in the morning with his toast and jam and morning newspaper......don't think so.

So take yourself back in a time machine and put yourself in WJMs predicament. WJM basically lost badley to a no name martial artist back then. That Bruce was a child star was not known then. Bruce was hardly the fighting superstar he is now. So WJM is proud to have fought and lost to Bruce now. Hence there is 1000s of videos of Linda Lee describing the fight, and none of WJM.
The only controversy surrounding that fight is why the fight actually took place? Was it for the right to teach whites or Bruce lee issued a challenge to the whole of San fransicso.
Linda Lee probably don't know why, but was believed what she was told at the time, as she didn't understand Chinese, which is the language the were talking back then. So just because Linda is not 100% on why the fight took place, what she saw certainly isn't in doubt. That Bruce kicked WJM butt in under 3 minutes.
