There's an article on here where Chavez Jr said he still wants to fight GGG but he didn't want to sign the extension. Why would there be talks now if GGG is fighting Murray and is chasing Cotto and not even looking to move up anymore, it makes no sense, especially when the Froch possibility is heating up. Froch and Chavez are in the same weight class incase you didn't know. I don't know whats your beef with Chavez Jr but believe it, he would fight GGG.

I dont like the guy but he is in contact with Arum and he probably got it from a source. What more do you want? Have we heard a response from GGG's camp on this supposed offer? I got this sneaking su****ion they're going to feed us a few more fights like Martin Murray and waste time fighting the likes of Heiland, Lemieux (if he beats Rosado) etc.

We'll have to see what happens with the Alvarez-Cotto situation and I don't think Froch wants any part of Golovkin so it's only really Ward at 168. What the fuck is Ward doing though...

He will never be in a more frustrating situation than we are with the likes of Mayweather-Pacquiao. We happen to have the best two fighters of this era in the same weight category and they won't fight each other - bullshit.

As much as I'm a big GGG fan I'm starting to share some of the frustration at the lack of any really challenging matchups for the Kazakh. Murray has... well, in effect, no chance. Canelo / Cotto winner (who most assume 'Nelo - but I'll bide my time) very little chance.

Ironically quite possibly GGGs biggest test to date could be Korobov - should he get by Andy Lee, but no one gives a damn about Matvey - the kid's what GGG woulda been if he didn't knock everyone out and have a big promotional push.

If GGG can uhify the available belts in 2015 I'm OK with him staying at 160 for a while, but watching him beat a succession of guys that are so clearly a level below (though that's hardly Gennadys fault) is starting to lose it's allure.

Now hes saying the real rumor is Cotto told Arum he'd want 80/20 for a GGG fight, he made up the offer part. Thats the thing with rumors, theres always some jacka$$ that tacks something on and a new rumor is born

Your going to have to go through the thread to understand the posts. Basically most of the people hear are saying Canelo would fight GGG but Cotto wont so I posted about the rumor. Never said I was expecting a response, but that would be the only way to prove or dispel the rumors.
