This will be another 2-round blow out. Can we get a contender in there before he fights Canelo? Is Csnelo going to have to he the 1st legit contender t fight GGG?

    Geeze.....

Who do you propose? Geale, Macklin, Murray, Rubio all top 10. Stevens Ring top 10.

I don't know man. GGG is that good. However his realistic options are not. He's in a tough spot. His vest challenges are fighters bigger and smaller than him.

Murray's fairly solid, but a little overated to my mind. I think he was lucky to get the draw against Sturm and whilst he might be considered to have earned a draw against Maravilla, we were clearly seeing a version of Sergio who was already on the decline.

Perhaps more worring is Martins 2 performances against perennially robbed Belorussian tough guy, Khomitsky, where it could be strongly argued that in both cases a draw was the best he deserved.

I do understand that all was not well with Murray around the time of Khomitsky II, but Sergeis body attack slowed Murray to a virtual crawl - I can only see GGG destroying Murrays body below that high guard.

The problem here is that Martin really has no route to victory over GGG - he is a big kid, yes, but he has neither much speed or power - all he can realisticaly do against GGG is bundle up and try to take the punishment, hoping against hope that he can maybe land something on the counter.

I call bull**** on your Cotto "rumor". Send a link or something.
It doesnt matter what the terms are if he doesnt want to sign an extension, then the offer is not amazing. Chavez Jr has no reason to duck GGG and once he completes or is freed from his current contract the odds of the fight happening increase exponentially.

Here's the link you asked for

Roach said he wants Canelo, Mayweather, GGG for Cotto. He said the money is not right for a GGG fight right now so an offer of 80-20 actually makes sense if the rumors are true.

Listen, if Murray lasts past 5 than I'll be surprised. I don't want to see, on the morning after, people going crazy 'cause Golovkin stopped him in a few rounds - he's near enough tailor made for Golovkin.

Outside of Quillin and Cotto, GGG is going to have to wait until the Lee-Korobov vs Saunders equation is sorted out for his next credible opponent.

Alvarez needs to either move up or Golovkin does, he won't make a legacy staying at 160 fighting against who's currently there.

why wont he get credit? 90% fo fans gave him credit for wins over geale and macklin but if you expect us real boxing fans to drool over him after beating the likes of rosado and rubio, you can keep dreaming.

on the topic of Murray, he is a decent fighter, good skill set but he lacks the will to win and the ability to close a fight down the stretch. He's admitted to as much in the past. So he'll survive the early rounds, maybe nick one or two but then GGG stops him by the 8 or 9th

Martin Murray is the true lineal champ at 160. He beat a almost close to near-prime Martinez.

Martin Murray is a problem for ANYONE. And he beats any 160lber besides Golovkin. Including Cotto and Quillin.

This truly will be a great win for GGG. add another top 5 MW to his record. We know many people will not give him credit, but that's okay

Maravilla was NOT anywhere near prime when he was gifted the decision vs. Murray. Dude declined right in front of our eyes in Argentia.

Martin Murray doesn't have the firepower to keep GGG off of him, but he is big and skilled. He's getting stopped by the 5th round
