**** supporting this guy and his embarrassing run. I'm done.
P4P No 1 though, according to King_

Don't agree? No credibility at all to you.

The HW division is awful anyway, what difference does it make who Wlad fights?

At least Jennings is top 10 and will draw some interest in the United States.

I don't know what people expect Wlad to do, join Valuev on the hunt for sasquatch? He is going to fight the top 10 guy who agrees to the smallest amount (and whose ass he hasn't already beat) again and again. You want to take what he has? Come and get it in Germany

Saying Jennings isn't a big puncher and that's why he doesn't have a chance is wrong.pulev is not a huge puncher aswell, but was still able to rock wlad a bit.wlad has a shaky chin and im the hw division every body packs enough punching power to ko him.the only problem with wlad is how to get to him.Jennings has a freakish reach(bigger than wlads'),and this could work for him.he is also by far the best physically prepared hw today and can easily go 12 rounds at a high pace.he seems to have a pretty good chin too.that being said,i don't say he beats wlad but he definitely is a legit opponent that could give wlad some trouble.

I'm not sure what the people whining about this fight expected to happen. If you look at the rankings and who's busy, who's already fought Wlad, it was either going to be Jennings or Fury.

Seems to be another case of people who don't even follow the division stopping by to opine about it.

Both good fighters with good wins but neither with a good style for beating Wladimir (Does anyone??? Once he learned to fend off bullrusher types he became the favorite in every fight against everyone).

That's true. I forgot about Jennings' reach. About 3 inches longer than Wladimir's.

How is this a great fight? It's an A level fighter against a D+/C- level fighter.

This is the best possible fight available for Wlad on April 25th. Yet again..... Wlad continues to fight the best willing and available possible opposition. How many times have we said that in his career? He never ducks anyone and whoever is willing to take their beating and step in the ring gets their shot.
This simply isn't true. It's not the best possible fight and Wlad doesn't fight the best available competition when given a choice and this is just another example.

Actually, when he fights the top guys it's because they're mandatory opponents and he's forced to...Povetkin and Pulev the latest examples.

When given a voluntary option, he fights Pianeta, Wach, Mormeck and now a raw, green not very good Jennings.

Why would top guys not want to fight him when he's virtually the only money fight in the division? that makes no sense.

I have a feeling if you told me who you believe to be the best available competition, it would be either highly debatable or they wouldn't really be available.

I have to agree, if Wilder/Stiverne is set for Jan, couldn't he have fought them in April?

Fury has just been made mando hasn't he? I'm sure he'd be more than happy to fight in 5 months time.

Man, I so want to hear what Fury has to say about this

Wlad asked for Stiverne months ago, they didn't want it and said they would negotiate Wilder instead.

                      http://espn.go.com/blog/dan-rafael/p...stivernes-belt

So strike him out of the "available" column.

Still wants to fight the winner:

Wladimir Klitschko could soon add the WBC heavyweight title to the four he already holds. Mauricio Sulaiman, president of the World Boxing Council, has told a German weekly that Klitschko could get an opportunity next year to complete his collection. Klitschko already holds the IBF, WBO, IBO and WBA belts. Bermane Stiverne of Canada is the WBC champion. Sulaiman has been quoted as saying: "Wladimir is a true boxing icon. The WBC fully and completely supports a [unification] fight."
