Who on earth would want to watch the snooze fest Floyd-Khan would bring? Canelo vs Cotto is great. Mexico vs Puerto Rico, a lot of Latin fans who are the majority in boxing anyways. So Canelo Is doing what floyd has always done. Make a fight on mexican holidays because it makes business sense. The last time this happened showtime got its ass kicked by hbo. Some of you Mayweather fans have serious issues with anyone thinking Floyd cant be touched. You want to hurt Floyd you hit him where it hurts the most, in his wallet. He may pull some true boxing fans but in the end Canelo VS Cotto would kick the crap out of anyone floyd goes against except Manny. Well that made you look pretty dumb and whats even better about this whole cluster F**k that Floyd put himself in is look who signed the checks and who the checks came from GOLDEN BOY. Showtime/Cbs deal was never disclosed but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know that the deal had more then anything involved Richard Schafer. He gave showtime Golden Boy as the exclusive Promoter for the network not thinking for a min that Oscar would kick his ass out.
Mayweather Promotions may be able to promote its own fights and Haymon might as well be ceo with all the fighters he has but Golden Boy and top rank have the connections the infrastructure and resources to fund huge events and deals that little floyd cant do. He may have all the money in the world but even with partners he cant expect to fund the whole thing.Comment

Tyson?? Wow, big deal he is no star now. If that is the case, JC Chavez, Barrera, Morales,etc plus many Puerto Rican boxers and ex boxers would go, who cares about Tyson? Nicholson?? Well, many Spanish artists would go to the canelo- cotto fight, so? They are not real fans anyway. It's all up to Showtime now whether they would allow Mayweather to fight on that date. After all, they would be the one that would bear the brunt of the loses. It's clear that Alvarez is backed by HBO.Comment
