    This...

That tax-free dough the casino puts up makes up for the excess they would normally expect from PPV revenue.

20 million tax-free is essentially the same as 30ish million with the 40% tax-rate you get hit with int he US.

$23m, plus another $7m off of the PPV, plus the ~$2m that likely went to the Algieri camp, comes out to over $30m in payouts before Top Rank even makes a penny.

300k buys puts $11m into the pot; 400k puts $15m into the pot. If events sponsors and the TV rights put another $5m into the pot, I'd be shocked.

For the numbers to even begin to start making any semblance of sense, you're looking at a $15m site fee from the Venetian to break even; therefore, there should be some extra margin there.

If the Venetian is paying enough beyond the break-even to make Top Rank happy ($20m site fee?), why fight anywhere else?

How is it that it can't sink in that it was 5 years ago and your hero won't man up put his name on a contract and fight him.

Basically Bobby's numbers don't add up successfully.

Oh and tmtforever sucks how you can't make every thread and block everyone who has a different opinion then you right. You just like Floyd except he hides behind excuses and al haymon while you hide behind the ignore button.

The ball is in Mayweathers court now.
According to Arum he has been in talks with the CEO of CBS. But this is according to Arum, so you always have to take that with a grain of salt. Sometime he tells the truth, sometimes he lies.

Vargas said that Arum told him that Pacquaio is next. So what do you want to believe? It's anyone's guess really. Arum may not have ever entered the court to even pass the ball to Mayweather's court.

He's beaten several Roach trained fighters and, according to him and his people, stole the PPV show. THey'll play the Roach trained fighters defeated heavily I assume.

He holds a grudge because Pac beat up many of his Mexican idols and he wants to avenge them.

It's so fucking weak that I'd pay them not to make the fight.

I hope the Pac PPV numbers are weak against Algieri... I don't want this fight
Of course, there's several angles to choose from. I was just throwing one of them out there just to make a point. I like Vargas, but he does not deserve a Pacquaio fight whatsoever. But unfortunately, more likely than not he's going to get it.
